It is pathetic that any publisher would be so ignorant to think they would have the developer kickstart the game and than they would publish it and get most of the profit.
I'm glad I took a chance on kickstarting this game (my first time)even though i'm not quite sure if Project Eternity is the game for me. I'm definitely going to try it once I get my copy, but even if I don't enjoy it, i'll still be glad I supported Obsidian. They're a great developer...

No. No. No. They need to look at Dragon Age: Origins (plus the explansion) and their older games (like Baldurs Gate) for inspiration, not ME2. I'm not sayign ME2 was a bad game, I just want them to take inspiration from elsewhere.
I really do hope they are truly taking fans feed back to heart, because I want to fall in love with the series again. When Dragon Age 3 releases, it'll have been in developement for about 3 years, so I have faith they'll do wonders with ...
They didnt announce it for the ps3 or 360 because Nintendo themselves are publishing it, thus I doubt we'll ever see it on either if those systems...

I hate it when people use 'The Greatest' or 'The Best'... Why must one game in a genre have to eclipse all other games in a genre? There are always a lot of wonderful games in a genre, all with their own personal twists on the formula. Sure, it's definitely one of the defining games of the horror genre, but it's not the only one.
That being said, I can't wait for A Machine For Pigs, but first I still gotta beat the first one haha.
Well they would have to make the art assets for the trophies, than make a patch with those trophies and than submit it to Sony for approval.. So, it would take a good little while and they really have to reason to it.
And they would rather release it on this generation consoles. They can not only release it sooner, but they are guaranteed more sales. I'm sure they've been working on it a few years now, so it would be stupid to rework it for next gen consoles.
I really doubt they can make it any worse than DA2, though I still enjoyed the game, it was severely lacking compared to the first one. I really do hope they can turn this series around, because I love the setting, characters and everything.
It's already back up, so this serves no purpose at all.
If they are canceling it, I would rather them try using kickstarter to finish it, I would actually pay to fund the game. I don't want to see this game die.

Every gamer plays differently, so that number obviously differs with every person. Some may take longer and some may take less time, depends on how they play. Some like exploring every nook and cranny, while others like to just run through everything. There are so many different things that can effect the number of hours it can take to complete a game, so its really just an estimate based on content and play tests.
I wish more developers could afford to do this, we would have more quality games, because they wouldn't have to worry about getting out a bunch if demos and trailers for their games, just a couple to catch gamers attentions. Unfortunately, not many developers have the selling power and trust of gamers for their games like Rockstar does.
I just want EA to take the series back to Underground, they were the only Need for Speed games I liked personally.

You are quite aware that this wont effect consoles already sold right? And thus, Activision will still see just as strong of sales on the 360 as it always has. It might lose new console owner sales on the 360, but it'll still sell more i'm sure and at this point, MS will have their next Xbox out within a year or two, so it wont be that bad.
It doesn't matter if Halo Wars was a RTS game, it is still a game in the franchise and deserves to be recognized as such. As for ODST, since MS believed it to be worth the 60 dollar price tag, than it should also be counted as a game in the franchise (even if it wasn't 60 dollars). The only reason you didn't count either of those games is because you wanted to say Halo 4 was the lowest rated game in the Halo series.
