The only reason Gow3 had beta so early is that Microsoft Game Studios is a publisher of this title and on top of that they can't have another total cluster fuck like with GoW2... also its their flagship game besides Halo/ CoD. BF3 beta was submitted +3 weeks ago, yes that how long it takes at least on 360 platform to approve it for general public. In my opinion better have beta late than never, at least Dice will have time to catch stuff that needs fixing quickly after lunch.
