Yeah, but could you imagine if Sony had the PS2, PS3, & the Vita on the market at the same time. I know the PS2 is pretty much done with game production, but its still selling consoles (crazy!).
Wonder if they could turn the PS2 open source and use it as a teaching tool for students. Eventually push out the standouts on PSN...just a thought.

It isn't that they dont know what they are doing...its that they are completely mad. They use abstract methods of advertising to generate buzz instead of selling a product for its worth.
Like doctorstrange said, their exclusives are amazing, but no one ever sees them.
Their ad campaigns are are rarely about a title, its just brand recognition.
Yeah, but their ad budget does have a few more 0's...Which is apart of Sony's problems.
The sad truth, is that unless a commercial is striking in some manner it will not generate any buzz. The really awful ones seem to continue to be remembered. The problem is, Sony rarely has any that are considered on the other side of the spectrum.
Personally i think Michael was one of the greatest ads out of Sony in the last 10 years. Although KB is great marketing.

I would understand the lack of ads if stock was limited, but it doesn't seem to be an issue.
Twisted Metal is going to be great! Syndicate I think has promise, but i am kinda glad they are not over hyping it. Deus Ex was WAY over hyped for me and basically ruined the game.

well since they did announce that you will be able to use a DS3 with some tablets, this could solve their problem.
Hopefully it just doesn't take away from their PSV market.
This could be a good move on Sony's side. Allowing a bigger market to be introduced to some of their flagships could draw in a new set of fans.
Exactly, the ability to dynamically adjust the capability of a controller is drastically undervalued.
