I guess that it was not a mistake, I think that ms marketing failed. They should announce this console as a "indie game" or free 2 play" gaming console, and leave publishers decide if they wanted to port AAA titles for it or not. I had one myself for that same purpose but then sell it to buy a Rog ally, despite being much less powerful but for what is intended, the Rog ally, performs really well, and its portable to boot.
To actually launch in 2025?…
Using A.I to write news articles is great, specially for clickbait.
I'm not definitely tired of 100 hour games, what I'm tired of is the repetitive game mechanics and tricks that Devs use to make me spend all that time doing nothing. A 100 hour game like the Witcher 3 or cp2077 is much more enjoyable than a 100h game like starfield, imo
Just a reminder, y'all know the 30th of February doesn't exist, right? Just checking...
EA, Ubisoft and Activision did the same thing last year, on 30th of February.
Of course it has the same power, and people who paid 2000$ for a 4090 are dumbasses... Where did you get that info? A card for a quarter of the price of a 4090's MSRP with the some performance? Yeah and Jensen Huang is the new Santa.
At this rate, Ubisoft will the one to get a Game Over screen
This should be called No man's game
If someone thinks that these cards will be somewhere near it's msrp when they arrive at retail, you're dreaming. Not to mention scalping.
Publishers and developers don't develop games anymore, they develop products that are designed to make profit, because of this they're soulless and are made without passion, that's why these so called videogame products don't appeal to anyone.
I agree that they need to leave creation engine but I don't agree that they have to go with unreal. Unreal engine can do very impressive image quality and "easy" to use but the last games built on that engine are very laggy and stuttery, and on top of that there's too many studios that are leaving their engines for unreal 5. I think that big studios should have their own engines because if every studio goes with ue5 games will start to look all the same, imo
"Gaming has never been better in terms of sheer (redacted) scale"
If they pitched a game as a service full of micro transactions and mindless grinding, they could've listened. Instead they pitch a single player game with a good story and interesting characters that will only sell the game to the players with no battle passes or time savers, of course EA didn't care to listen to them. What were they thinkin?
Some of those you can pick them for much less than 5$ on instant gaming.
Yeah and Uncharted is a "Tomb-Raider like" game.
Sony's lawyers will have a blast with this
🤣
The title is wrong, is 300$ and not 200$, the price gap must be calculated with ps5 digital, because PS5 pro don't have a disk drive also.
We should leave videogames out of the acronyms. Publishers just need to focus on good gameplay and story and not be limited by any kind of politics, at least in my opinion. For me videogames is a form of escapism from the real world and be immersed on the world created by the game I'm playing, I don't want or need to be educated or reminded about real world problems, I have websites, TV or radio news for that.
