Ray tracing is a very cool feature, it gives a very beautiful and realistic image and improves immersion greatly, but it's very taxing graphics wise and because of that it breaks gameplay a little because we will always loose some FPS not to mention the cost of a system that can run this feature with high resolution, so I think that this technology will have to improve so it can be used by middle range systems as well.

Nobody understands the true Sony purpose here... Sony is trying to save Microsoft a l ton of money. Now seriously, if Microsoft invested this pornografic amount of money in they're own studios, couldn't they come up with even better ip's then Activision or even Sony?
This is one of thousands examples that makes me stay away from mobile gaming, the only game I have installed is on my tablet and it's stardew valley.

How great this one and breath of the wild would be if Nintendo had a platform at least as powerful as ps4/XBone... They're still great games, graphics has nothing to do wether a game is good or not, but would improve the presentation immensely.

This is seeming more and more that something is happening on backstage that we're not aware yet, i get that is easier to develop for an immutable platform like a console then to a pc that can have thousands of configurations, but I can't shake the feeling that all these poor pc ports is to push players to console gaming, and with the rise of console prices announced from both Sony an MS are weird to say the least, and are pushing me to believe that something is really happening behin...

I know what console gaming was 10 years ago, and it was much better than what it is now. At least they're not saying that cloud gaming is the future, Stadia prove everyone wrong about that, at least for the current technology.
