That's more 2K's fault rather than Yuke's. They've wanted to take the series in a different direction for years.
That sucks. It's Telltale's best game, imo.
I don't really want a prequel either, but - on the bright side - at least it's an original story. This will be heavily disagreed with and that's fine, but my ideal live-action Drake has always been Tom Cruise. He looks like Drake, he's a great actor and a huge star, and he does all his stunts meaning little to no CGI. Christoph McQuarrie would've also been a great director.
Can't wait. I loved Until Dawn.
I never played The Last Guardian. It shames me to admit this, but I'm not a fan of Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus.
Persona 5 is still a PS3/PS4 title, and Persona 5 The Royal is a PS4 exclusive. Persona 5 Scramble, however, is a Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 game.
* The Last Of Us Remastered.
You can criticise an individual review all you want, but the notion that all critics have an agenda against Days Gone or that it has been received poorly is foolish.
Yeah, after what they did to him, no thanks.
It is a good game, and I'm happy it's selling well as it can become a brilliant franchise. However, it's nowhere near perfect and it hasn't been pooped on by the vast majority of critics.
The Metacritic score isn't middling to negative, it's more so individual reviews from major outlets like IGN (6.5) and Gamespot (5). The Metacritic score is very respectable, and it's not that different from the user score of 8.0 (meaning the consensus about Days Gone between gamers and critics isn't all that far apart).
Great. Loved this game.
I think Rage 2 will be fine, but I've been super interested in A Plague Tale for a while. Fingers crossed it's good.
Same. This is my most anticipated game next to Cyberpunk 2077.
Final Fantasy 9 is my personal favourite.
Final Fantasy 13 is when it fell off the cliff.
I've been saying this game is a good and solid foundation for better things, and I'd say its scores should be around 7 or 8. However, the apparent disconnect between gamers and critics is caused by reviewers having to play a LOT of games every year. This means it's only natural that reviewers are less positive towards something that - mostly - doesn't offer anything new to the open-world genre.
It's still a good game and Bend Studio deserve the chance to...
Kind of how I feel about Evil Dead. The reboot was good, but it wasn't Evil Dead for me. I'm still annoyed that Starz canceled Ash Vs. Evil Dead. That series was so good and it just suffered from a lack of exposure.
And it was really bad...
I love Persona 5, but there are parts of it where I become a bit tired of its exposition, repetitive conversations and formula.
