this is how i saw it from the begining , even if elite was total crap (and it isnt) i would be getting the dlc that i woulda bought anyway for a discount. but actually using the elite service is cool, it has videos that help you compare weapons, understand the map designs and fun episodes like friday night fights. I was upset at the slow start but the game ran perfectly, and with functionality getting better and better i dont see why anyone would complain about the service. oh and elite works...

Everyone thinks dedicated servers are the way to go, i beg to differ. The reason cod games stay alive is because of the connection they use, try getting support for a 2 year old ea game, not gonna happen. So id rather local hosts, thats the reason you can still find cod4 matches
Why else would someone buy elite? dlc extends the life and fun factor of the game. Thats the only reason i bought elite, but it turns out elite is good, watching friday night fights is great and the other videos are informative.the only dlc i didnt buy was the last zombies only one, but if that even had 1 mp map i woulda bought it. i spend more than $15 at taco bell and that sh#ts gone in ten minutes

try not to sprint so much, if your dying face to face get a quicker gun or sleight of hand and fast draw. if you die while uav is up alot then get assassin and blind eye. shoot in bursts to improve accuracy and use kick if your shooting a missing alot along with steady aim. when an enemy is spotted try to train yourself to pull the trigger a split second before you start pulling up your sights. and always pick killstreaks you can reasonably attain, or use support streaks and you get kills tow...
I think they dealt with camping in a smart way, and good matches can be had if you play smart, 30+ kills can still be gotten as a rusher, could it be that the learning curve on these maps is taking longer to get perfected? have you tried watching the videos on elite about the maps and where the flow of the maps are explained? and the 30+ kills you guys are talking about probably 50% or more came from killstreaks? if so thats more of a testament to IW balancing out the game play.
