This would be great. I missed it on ps3 and would rather play an upgrade even though I still own both gens.
I mean, the article has some merit. Morrowind and Star Wars KOTOR were both on the original Xbox (and PC) and not playstation consoles. Granted, I wouldn't say Microsoft modernized RPGs but rather that MS allowed increased exposure for Western RPGs by giving them a home on a console.
Damn that's harsh. Currently enjoying the game, and while combat is the usual Piranha Bytes fare, it's a cool experience.
Hopefully it'll be like the GPS system in Far Cry 2 which was pretty cool

The D/P remake will likely be on switch. Nintendo's been pretty consistent by putting the remakes of pokemon games on hardware that is 2 gens newer than the original. FireRed/LeafGreen was on GBA, skipping GBC. HG/SS was on DS, skipping GBA. OR/AS was on 3DS, skipping DS. So likely, D/P remake will be on Switch, skipping 3DS.
Or at least put on psn so people with vitas could download it...

The lore is extremely rich for the series. They could make a new game take place in the past, at the height of witchers' influence.

But why can't the ps3 version be discounted too? Makes no sense to me tbh, especially when the 360 version is backwards compatible whereas the ps3 version is not.

I just hope the combat is something new or feels fresh. It looked too much like your same basic batman arkham combat. Otherwise, the game looks gorgeous.
