This isn't a matter of physical vs digital. They aren't even including the game with the collector's edition anymore. If they want to do that, call it "bonus materials" or something, not a collector's edition. A collector's edition implies the base game plus extra goodies.

The tech test didn't lie. If they hadn't released it, everything players saw and disliked would have shipped with the final game. The slow movement, the kill streaks to earn titans, all of it. They're only changing it now because of the negative feedback.
