Sounds dirty, like a sexual maneuver or something like that: a reverse EA
Agree. Is definitely not a big deal. Nothing is new under the sun. I learn that reading Shakespeare, Macbeth is just Cain and Abel all over again... A teacher of mine once told me: there are just 30 plots that are repeated over and over, the trick is just to make little twist on things to make them look new... But we as human beings, want the same stories told over and over
I found this funny: "Oh no no no, these are not zombies, these are Freakers, they make nests and sht. They are smart and drink water. They are not Zombies. Stop calling them that. Zombies are ugly, smelly and slow and make Grrrrrrrrrr"
They are making this distinction probably because they know the worst backlash this game will probably face is how tiring the whole Zombie apocalypse thing has become; so I guess this is not a Zombie apocalypse now is more like a Freakers Apo...
Maybe not an "artificial hype campaign" but there's a campaign... Just today, 2 months before release, we are flooded with tons of articles talking about the game; in the same day... This is part of Sony's campaign for this game, they allowed the big sites to release their preview impressions today to create hype
The game only have white people? I don't think so.
It looks good, looks like a proper AAA. I think the whole Zombie Apocalypse thing has become tiring; it felt tiring somehow by the time The Last of Us release (2013! And on another console) and somehow Naughty were able to present us with something new, awesome and fresh at the same time... It was a Zombie apocalypse simulator and at the same time it wasn't... So, if the studio here, Bend, also manages to make a new twist to the whole thing, and engage us in another exciting experience ...
:) that bad uh?
Like Lady Galadriel says in the Lord of the Rings movies: "The World is changing"
30 years, 20 years, just a decade ago, Who would have though that the boss of one of the most important gaming studios in the world would be a Woman? and a very intelligent one judging by her interviews...
My most anticipated game, the one I'm the most hype about is The Last of Us 2, which has a Strong Female character in the lead Who also happens to be a homosexual (Oh,...
@Hungryalpaca It is advisable of course to always hire talented persons, Men and Women
Well, When Sony do such a thing I sincerely hope they don't decide to call it The PS4 Sad or any other monstrosity like that
For a future similar case, maybe you should wait a little... Just don't play the game (but you don't need to erase it) these things are fixable. On the other hand the game sucks so you don't miss much.
You must be right is just people over exaggerating. It didn't happen to my Friend Bubba either (so that, with you and your son's friend make three cases). Is not like there are 80 Million PS4's out there and What? 30, 35, 40 million Xbones?
But gamers still support EA now with Apex Legend (and the sportsy shtty games, AND the star wars crp) SOOOO they will continue doing what they do
I bet you, I bet you goddammit, EA were the ones that forced the game to be rushed
It looks fine. maybe Japanese box art will be even better... they usually get better box art.
I can still hear Angela's theme in my head
Xbox Sad, is a terrible name. This is just a rumor, so if it's true you are in time to change it Microsoft!
Both men and women could be talented, but women see things under a different light, have a different approach to things... That's why it could be beneficial as good old Bonnie says to make a little room, just a tiny space, in a male dominated industry: to see the talents of your mom, your sister, your daughter, shine.
If they do that I expect great things, from 343. And I want to say that this article made my day :)
Good. The industry in general is very male dominated. Just hired more women, I'm sure there's a lot of talent out there. You are the boss now
Seems to me shocking, daring I'd say (if it's good or bad... Well It depends on how tasteful it is) In any case, has the potential to create quite the controversy, Maybe even get to mainstream news
