Read the article. This "informer" is very harshly criticizing the development of the game. If this is real, if this comes from an actual dev... If the article is genuine, doesn't mean the game is gonna be bad...but at least there's reason to be concerned

"Don’t expect it to be an epoch-making masterpiece"
"the development cycle is too long"
"The company executives were overly ambitious"
"the engine needed to be changed significantly"
"They had to make the game and develop the engine at the same time"
I'll just stop, anything you can quote from the article is REALLY bad. Who is this guy? Is this real? This comes from an actual developer or these ...

Call of Duty!!!!?

Well, almost every AAA game these days demands similar effort from their developers... Should reviewers give them a free 8 just for trying?

You are reading 5/10 on the verge of being broken, for me it says is just mediocre

40% more... "more powerful, future proof" that's an argument a hardcore gamer would do. Hard-working-all-day-away from-kids- single mom will buy the 40% cheaper console. Also struggling people from poor Countries? So this is for them.

IMO You've ruined one of the greatest gaming experiences you could possibly get which is: straight Demon's Souls as it was intended... But that's fine, I'm not against you doing that (I'm not against people watching playthroughs to know what to do... but there's no argue they are ruining the developer's intended experience) . I'm against forcing the developers to change their original vision... making easy modes or Save and Quits, or whatever.

They had a vision for this game. They probably consider Save and Quit during development and went against it. No save and quit is there by design.
But now, they have to change that vision just to accommodate you. Because you can't do it. Because you don't have the time or the patience or even the skills idk. Yeah I'm one of those people saying: the game is not for you, you can play other stuff. There are a lot of games that are not for me...

I bet a 7...

I haven't played this one. But a Save and Quit would have changed the experience in many many excellent games from the past. I can't get modern gaming... Is this mentality that if a game is challenging or even plain hard, players shouldn't get better at it, little by little, instead the developer has to change the game, their original vision, making it easier just to accommodate the whiners.
This mentality is what makes a lot of games really suck.
Well in any c...

"What are people disagreeing with?" Why do you care?

Well that's the genius of the switch, isn't it?

I have a ton of PS3 games, RPGs /Horror and a lot of exclusives. I bought them used or really cheap most of them in fine condition. My intention was just to play them, but you know... I haven't. Is the only "collection" I have of games; I began to feel really silly about having all these physical copies in a box. So if the prices are becoming good I think I will sell them, keep the ones I really like.

And you seem to forget that it doesn't matter, cause even if that's the case then retail would not be interested in a possible sequel, because they too a massive loss with the first game.

Yaaaaaay That's awesome. Love you Sony. I'll buy some stuff through PS3 now to support this!

You made probably the WORST example possible because Cyberpunk got a sht-ton of backlash! You could argue that it was well deserved, but in any case that game didn't get "double standards" at all. It was a huge flop, and a mistake CDprojekt is still paying for... And worse, I'm not even sure they will ever recover from this... they might launch another Witcher, but I don't know if they will ever try to release another original IP. So, there you go

Ok it's my fault then. A game like Horizon... Huge success. Tons of people bought it Day 1... same system, same audience, also a new IP. Got its sequel... Here instead, is my fault.
The game is not generic, Is not a game about zombies! it's about freakers, and freakers are not zombies! They eat, drink and sleep (and probably love, dream and carve art with their own sht)
I've never seen that gameplay before, the story and the characters are not boring as F... a...

I bought it day 1 and I hated your game

Could they change this with a future patch? Maybe not requiring trophies to sync with the servers in the future?
Is this an issue with PS5 too?

1799d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Precisely. If you didn't like the game it was for another reason, maybe the gameplay, the story, the graphics whatever but not the performance, this wasn't a Cyberpunk scenario... it had a similar performance to most PS4 games. Now I bet it runs better on PS5 same as God of War probably runs way better on PS5... Gow had minor issues on base PS4, was it a mess? Hll No!

@F0XH0UND922 but it's a conjunction of a word. As you can probably tell English is not my native language, so I'm sincerely asking, when you are counting words in an expression like this one... does the conjunction count as a word or not?
