I've been playing this at my friends house over the weekend, and i can honestly say that it's the most boring, repetitious game i think i have ever played. Some parts look fantastic in the game, but this is mainly the main character model itself. So much of it looks entirely bland, and the rinse, repeat of enemy character models is atrocious.
Not impressed. At all.

What a stupid review score system anyhow. Who on earth marks out of 4?! Out of 5 is stupid enough as it is in my books.
MS fans are going to regret saying anything about 'bricked consoles' on the PS4, which was completely ironic considering their non issue of over 50% failure rate last gen. Articles are going to come out in troves about bricked Xone's regardless of being true or not. The same happened for the lackluster reviews of your games, and the abuse that was given to KZ and Knack.
You only have yourselves and the media to blame.
It's mostly websites with agendas quick to get their biased review out during the release of PS4, therefor trying to affect sales (call me cynical ha). This is why none of them could be bothered to try the MP properly, which is a massive plus of the game.
Most of those reviews have passed now though, hence the better reviews.
I honestly think that now a lot of the US based websites are done with their reviews (which i believe are swayed by the fact that MS are a US company - shock horror), that there will be a lot more open, reasonable reviews towards this game for what it is.
Might be wrong, who knows.

This is surprising, from Sessler?! This is probably not good news for reviews.. But whatever, if u like the look of it, get it... 99% of reviews i've seen are complete FUD with an agenda.
I would like to however point out that the counter for humble pie is that a way for all the idiots drilling KZ reviews.
These comparisons are the dumbest thing i've seen in 'journalism' for quite some time. Get a grip authors! Go and do some real journalism. Comparing winners over a healthy rivalry that will last for 10 years, within the first wk of their release, is just straight up stupid.
Video game journalism is a shabby piece of shite of a sham. Good luck to both consoles, i look forward to seeing what they both produce in years to come.

yea i hear that, the problem with that is that the reviews lack consistency as most people will relate reviews to the site, not to the specific authors.
If i see a 5.5 for KZ and a 7 for COD i'm going to think 'F*** this site', and that's exactly what i think.
Gave Battlefield a 9 and COD a 7.. Credibility = 0. Talks about uninspired story lines and predictable firefights, yea, because neither of those other 2 suffer from that.

Of course it's not over, and i hope it's not.. Even though i have issues with MS, until another console is available that is able to compete with Sony, i would rather MS were about as it pushes the quantity and quality of exclusives.
This is a nightmare for someone with OCD, ha. Not a game breaker for me personally but i guess it's a little strange.

The fact this review mentions 'Halo' and the fact it's not a 'Halo Killer', about 5-10 times, makes me question the agenda of this review.
Pathetic comparisons make me dislike said 'journalism', as i find the two to be very different games. I have also personally found KZ a lot more appealing to myself for multiple reasons.
