Depends on the publisher really. The $50 ones are usually the digital copies but now everything is basically $60...sadly
Doubt it...skyrim, swtor, diablo 3, gw2, just to name a few all sold for $60
Does it matter? COD fanboys are on par with Apple ones. They will buy anything spit out by Activision with the Call of Duty name on it.

The verge is run by the people from engadget...a lot of them moved over there.
It does but they put way too many servers up at launch and many are very light. Choose a heavy server and you will be ok

@CarlitoBrigante I won't deny that there are some nice looking PS3 exclusives e.g. GoWIII but don't even try saying it looks better than PC games unless you're comparing to games from the late 90's or something.
The only issues really are the servers at the moment but that will be fixed. The game itself is solid
