Gaming definitely became more popular because of consoles. I've been around long enough to have witnessed it happen. Not many people even had a PC in the late mid/late 80's/early 90's but if you were a kid back then you definitely had an NES and of course before that the Atari, Mastersystem, Caleco Vision etc etc. PC became more popular in the 90's with games such as doom and the like. I only knew a handful a of people who had a PC back then and it certainly wasn't for gam...

To begin with, it looks like the official name will be “Silent Hill Re-Mastered Collection.” In addition to the voice-work, the soundtracks for two classic survival horror titles will be completely updated. GameStop also revealed that the graphics in Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 (you can check out some screens from the Playstation 2 versions of both games in the slideshow to the left of this article) will be in 720p high-defini...
I wish some of the November releases would come out this summer. What is the deal with November. Why is everyone trying to get their game out in that month?
Yeah, the aiming looks atrocious. I still don't know why when you aim the gun the cross hair is well below the gun. Looks really out of place and I won't even get into the character animations.
Is this even necessary? PS2 games look better than that UC clone and UC2/3 are IMO the best looking games this gen so far. Site needs hits I suppose though.
I have faith in ND. I can say they have't let me down yet since way back in the PS1 days.
Did you watch the videos in the link? I may get hated for saying so but I think he brings up some valid points and I'm a PC/PS3 gamer at present. TBH though my next PC won't be a gaming one. I do 99% of my gaming on PS3 so there is very little reason for me to drop all that money on a gaming rig when I can play the same games there and with people I know. I only really purchased this one to play SC2 and Diablo 3. I have several other games on PC but no one I know plays them on PC so I...
Don't forget to factor in the cost of running a gaming rig which typically requires several times more power than a console.
LOL@disagrees...must not know much about PC's
"10x better community"
That's up for debate. If you don't know anyone that plays on the (PC, 360, PS3) platform, it may get fairly boring. That said, most online PC games only have a small percentage of players that consoles have. Black Ops for example has typically 28k people on PC while on PS3 usually 500k-800k and 360 over 1 million at any given time. And yes I also game on both PC and PS3.
It used to be different years ago but now anything that is on PC is more than likely also on console (with the exception of RTS usually) so not much of a point unless you want a bit better visuals and prefer the kb/m
They could possibly reach that goal depending on how long this gen lasts and how long MS supports the 360.
Please be Tuesday already. I wish the beta was longer than July 13th. No real interesting games come out for a while.
[x] Never tried either of the services
sucks
All great games but I think GOTY will release in November...which game however is anyone's guess
I played the 2nd Gears and it wasn't bad but TBH I don't like the art style of the game. Well the level design is nice but I don't like the huge muscle look all the characters have.
I enjoyed the SP in reach but I don't like the MP
I'll get the PS3 version because I don't think my PC has the power for this beast.
SC is the epitome of eSports.
I think one issue is that games today are much more complex than they were years ago. I mean just look at the sheer size of your average game today compared to say 10 years ago. So much more going on which leaves larger room for error.
