The list seems to be heavily slanted towards Xbone. Where is Uncharted 4? Or Horizon?.
Not sure how anyone can have a most anticipated list with out Uncharted being on there
Good to get some real numbers from Sony. Not like all that jazz we got from MS the other day. Number of hours logged this number of hours logged that.
At least Sony is keeping it real
@armchair
How am I an annoying troll by responding to someone who is trolling and countering with facts?
And you need a maths lesson my friend.
The order: 1920 * 800 = 1,536,000 pixels
Ryse: 1600 * 900 = 1,440,000.
Maybe you should have spent more time listening at school then you wouldn't embarrass yourself by making stupid comments
I don't see why we need an article to speculate why the game is going to be a disappointment based on baseless reasons. The website is just looking for hits.
I suggest people wait until it is released. We will know how it is soon enough
I know people by multiple consoles which is why I used the word "potentially" 100m. You should have understood that.
I can't see it selling strongly. Even right now it's not even in the top 100 on Amazons best selling video games. Most sales come in the first month. It isn't selling well at all now
It's no were near enough. A sequel to a big selling game with a long history releasing to a base of potentially 100m customers and selling around a million is no were near enough.
Add to that they had to drop the price only a few weeks after launch because xbox users weren't buying it. That's pretty much unheard of.
It probably sold around 500,000 copies at the reduced price which means they missed out on over $10m in sales potentially.
...
How can most users have moved to next gen? The numbers don't add up.
Of course people still buy games for last gen. There are 10's of millions of people out there who haven't upgraded to next gen.
Xbox lost a lot of customers to PS4 granted. But there are still a lot who don't have next gen. Those people still buy games for their current console. I would If I hadn't moved to next gen.
Tombraider sold 1 million to a base of...
So you think a game which is a big sequel to a big selling game with a long history releasing to an install base of potentially 100m people and only sold a million is not a flop? Of course it is.
Forza 6 by comparison has sold over a million to a customer base of about 17 million.
Blood borne is a niche new IP and that sold over 1 million at launch week.
The TR numbers aren't good at all. Add to that they dropped the price literally a few...
@Chris.
Microsoft use the term "record holiday" a lot. Yet none of their figures out did the true record breaker which is PS4.
Thats what I mean by celebrating the small victories
@Free Fro.
"How did Rise of' manage to sell over 1 million units."
Maybe because they desperately dropped the price to well below market value after less than a month on sale.
That number still isn't good considering they released it to a base of potentially 100m customers and it's a sequel to a big selling game
They have to celebrate the small victories I suppose
Not sure that Fable legends and Halo wars 2 is AAA. Isn't fable legends free to play?
@king.
Do you remember when drive club was delayed? That article had over 400 comments. It was like Christmas for them
Not sure why you continue to troll. I think it's just because you know the orders graphics are better than ryse's while also running at a higher resolution and better framerate.
Facts prove that the order has better graphics. All 4 main characters in The Order have more polygons than the main character of Ryse. The numbers don't lie.
You need to get used to PS4 exclusives beating down Xbone exclusives this generation when it comes to graphics. It&...
These things happen and it's best for the game. I'll never criticise a game for being delayed.
Xbox fanboys don't behave the same way when a PS4 exclusive is delayed. The articles usually shoot to the first page because of all the vitriol in the comments from them
@elite.
True dat!
PS4 is the much better console compared to Xbone. The public say so as the sales prove that.
But if you are looking for unbiased proof. Ask the developers. More developers have stated they prefer the PS4. Nearly all of them use it as the lead platform.
I'm glad it's a single player only game as I only play single player. Never touched multiplayer on any game yet. Seems I'm a rare breed
@Digital.
You could have a point but generally to be first party the developer has to be owned by the publisher
Also lets not forget how Microsoft were shamelessly paying Youtubers for positive feedback.
Not sure how anyone can support them with the torrent of dodgy things they have done and tried to do.
