The idea was to always get windows in the living. that has not changed. They simply thought sony had that idea but where wrong. The PS is JUST a games console.

It doesnt use DX12 and devs always say they are pushing based on their current experience with hardware. I ts not an entirely accurate statment but it is the most honest, based on their current level of how to best use the hardware and the API they are using. How would they be using DX12 when DX12 is not yet finalised as an API? they are pushing based on their current knowledge and API.
And they dont need to be. Owning one has mant benefits for their own products and devices though(xbox, surface, windows phone). AMD is predicted to go bankrupt by 2020:

Doubtful. In sony's current financial state, I doubt they would be able to develop technically competitive hardware at a competitive price. that is why they went with AMD in the first place. They cannot afford to make 'emotion engines' and 'cells' anymore.
Intel is too pricey for sony or nintendo, hence why they have never used them. MS is the only company to ever use an intel CPU in a console. FYI intel's own GPUs suck.
So that leaves ARM....
This is one game that deserves triple screen support.
the 500X are DTS. Are these? im looking at the price on the turtle beach UK site and they are selling 500X at £179 vs £139. is the DTS worth the extra? its not much difference in price but im curious as somebody that is looking for a wireless upgrade from my titanfall headset.

I had to replace my x360 3 times. Simply took it back to gamestation.they would exchange your console for a new one, there and then, and then send the faulty back to MS, so as bad as RODD was when it happened I wasnt worried about buying a new X360, they replaced mine for as soon I brought it back to gamestation. Your comment reminds me of what I do when Im playing BF4 (which is like... every other day). I probably spend a lot of time changing up my guns and equipment. But I wouldnt have it any other way. That said Im glad halo has always shunned that level of weapon customization. Halo is a finely tuned thing. Its so raw in the way it approaches gameplay and skill. It gives you little except enough to be competitive; your armour, abilities and a BR/DMR. and advantages like power...
I think they have consigned megaman to the history books for now. They said themselves they wont make sequels to games that dont sell well in this day and age. So that just leaves new IP and whatever sony/MS or nintendo pay them to make from their back cat ie. streetfighter.

I think its partly down to the fact that last gen ran four years longer than it should have. there is no last bit of performance to squeeze out of them , yet their tails have long exceeded their prime years. so there is that.They had a good run. But their time is up.
