"Now I want to be blown away by battlefield 6.... or Bad Company 3!!!!! Supposedly out next year according to EA's earning reports"
Would be nice if they used azure for the PC and xbox versions. Dedicated servers and cloud powered destruction would be cool. and after seeing what I seen with crackdown and a whole city getting leveled, I think a smaller BF sized map as opposed to a huge open world would be easy to pull off. Goes without saying that DICE will be using...
MS really knocked it out the park today. Im still digesting all the gamescom info. So much to look forward to on xbox.
sidewinder was like forzas very own equivalent of the lotus handling circuit. and was a great set of tracks for tuning suspension settings. It needs to come back. It has every type of corner to test and tune suspension settings.
I dont know why, but I instantly knew what you was talking about.
I still want the sidewinder, alfamali and mountain tracks to return. But monza is welcome. Still missing some of my fave original tracks, but I am sure they will return in time.
The only thing that seems to be missing is news/gameplay of recore. But overall, I was impressed. even more excited about the good stuff coming to XB1.
LOL at the disagrees. PSfanboys quitely lurking around N4G today. Quietly for a change.
@lemoncake
Nah. still lots of boot and loot pricks running around. I mostly play with my freinds anyway. I never do dungeons with randoms.
"Does it suck ya dry like DCUO on PS4?"
I have spent about £120 on it so far. roughly just over $200 USD. Never spent a peny on DCU on PC. Havent played it on PS4.
"Try ESO, it's amazing and ya really don't have to spend much at all past the initial investment.&...
tell me about it! And I keep spending! I have 5 mounts and 8 companions. I stopped buying dyes when I learned how to make them. The Tiamat expantions eating up my gaming time as it is. And now this lot? jeez!
"I hope Playgrounds next game is PGR though."
Man! they could just section off a city in an open world and slap PGR right into the heart of FH3. PGR was a city circuit racer, and all they need to do is build a dense enough city area.
Loving these screens though. looking forward to hitting the nurburgring in the wet..in a porsche 911GT3 RS, no less. And Im going to deck it out in team PRC decals from ridge racer type 4.
screw it..time ...
oh my gaaaash!
looks fun :)
So It looks like ill be buying ANOTHER controller to add to my collection :)
so far I have:
COD:AW (came with my console)
titanfall edition (never used, still in box)
Midnight forces
Covert forces (dont intend to use, still in box)
Pre ordered:
Elite controller
Forza controller
And Im waiting for this one to pop up on amazon now.
And my guests?..get to use the standard black one...
Im a bit jealous :) enjoy!
Now thats a sexy box. I would trade mine COD edition for one, but...I would rather spend that money on games and periherals.
"PS4 is successful mainly for providing great games look at 2015 ps4 has more exclusives than nearest rival."
Lets talk about that for a bit. Personally I think the runaway success of the PS4 can be directly attributed to MS own blunders. When Ms announced its DRM..all sony had to was say..we are not doing DRM. When MS said always online..Sony said we are not always online. When MS announce their price point with mandatory kinect..sony told you you can have it cheaper ...
Wow. Thats a lot of games. I like.
DC is pretty. But forza models the physical effects of weather on surfaces and cars that DC simply does not. FM is a sim after all. The suspension is physically modeled. The weight of the car on its suspension is calulated, mathematically. The results of tyre ( forza has the best tyre and suspension modeling in the biz) contact with surface and suspension geometry are updated 360 times per second. DC is not even in the same league outside of its graphics and effects. Its pretty but its just a...
Thats whats even more impressive. Imagine the next forza game that does make use of DX12 and possibly use of azure beyond drivatars. crackdown is leading the way their but I could see things like weather and lighting being shifted to the cloud in online matches, freeing up the console to handle more immediate physical effects. They are already using the console to do things like this locally in FM6:
3d water puddles. Notice how the car pulls as it drives through the puddle: ...
Nothing wrong borrowing a little. Infamous and the order took lots of inspiration from crack down and gears of war. Im sure you like those games though.
