Fear not...the newer games would still work on your current PS4. But the newer model will play those games with better performance in hand. The question is...Have sony covered the whole backwards-forwards compatibility thing? I know MS has, So I would expect sony has looked into it too, at least....

I have a PS4 as well as a PC. I'm only going to buy one VR headset. I'm making my choice based on games but if the performance difference is notable like that, I'm choosing occulus....I think I made that pretty clear.

$50 = 5 indie games or 1 AAA game. Peeps need to stop complaining about free shit. their money keeps PSN and PSNow running smoothly. Thats what you are paying for. Not Free AAA games every other month.
At the end of the day it was #4theplayers. Sony wanted us all to enjoy these independent creative games, that nobody really buys, for free. Thats pretty courteous of them. Why would they give you a game you were already gonna buy? The 40 millions seem fine with it so thats what matters, I guess.

Same here. I would rather buy an upgraded xbox, but I would consider upgrading my PS4....who am I kidding. Id part exchange my current one in a heartbeat. Same goes for my xbox, even more so, as thats the gaming device I play on the most.
