yeah, I remember that. I think nthat initial exclusivity came about due to Toby guard (the guy who created TR) and core design(The team behind him that created TR) were sega stalwarts. I had a few of their games on mega CD and saturn.
But as we know...money talks.
With regards to progressiveness...it feels fine on a controller. I have good control of my revs going into, mid and exiting corners. It could be something relating to the thrustmaster, but I have heard a few sttories about forza with CERTAIN wheels. This is why we need a wheel shoot out now. thrust master VS fanatec VS logitec.

while we are on the subject, I highly reccomend lifeless planet, nero, another world, strider, supertimeforce, velocity, abe's odd N tasty and lovers in another time space. Im glad I have my home insurance up to date, but you know how it is with limited edition or valuable items. Sometimes they cannot be replaced even if you have the money, because they are not available anymore.

I agree about the rumble. I would like to have that turned back up and the car engine volume. all the other cars sound louder than mine, but im guessing they will patch these things, as they have been brought up on the forums.
Aside from that...its my perfect racer! The car handling is something else. Forza, once again stomps the competition in the areas that count most. particularly the driving/car handling/racing!
GT was the console sim that got me started on sims way back in the PS1 days. I was loyal to that series until FM2..then FM3 happened and it had already surpassed GT at that point in my eyes. FM4 just cemented its position as the better series for me.
And for me it all lies in one thing. Which one feels most like driving a real car? both do a good job...but forza has a an extra layer of feel. An extra layer of punishment brought on by its tire simulation.
