I agree with godmars, and have said this much myself. They killed their momentum with the DRM thing, always online and the used games thing amongst other stuff. Well its not the prettiest game, but it does look good. The object materials look nice enough, but yes other games look nicer in that respect. But it looks and feels like halo, and it looks better than any halo that has gone before, using MCC as a reference there.

cool. one last final play test to decide whether I buy this or get it on access for free later. Even after the BETA, Im still not sure how I feel about this game. They got the look and the sounds down. But the game felt a little hollow in the beta. Im hoping some hands on with the final game, will change my mind about that...if not...free on access, and I can wait. Halo 5 is doing more than enough right now, for me.

For what its worth the first game was really good. even more fun in co op. sure it didnt have mind blowing visuals, but I will say for a game, that I bought mostly for the halo 3 beta....it was a genuine surprise. CD 2 was a bit shoddy, even though the 4 player co op was fun...it could have been better as a whole package. Maybe the fact that the sequel was developed by a differnt studio, has something to do with that. CD3, fortunately is developed by the original team.
