So , if you played the game, you rushed to the ending, how are you supposed to know how the game is until the ending? You didn't enjoy the game, you are creating the opinion from the ending. And if you only watched the ending on youtube, that's even worse, to you, the game is it's ending.
It kinda was in AC 1, I was actually careful not to trigger the guards, they were stronger and more suspicious. In 2 and so on I can get in the middle of 4 people and magically disappear!

There are a lot of clues that can't be unintentional. The trees before the beam weren't there before shepard got it, they just appeared there.
The whole nonsense of what happened up there.
Major Something says no one got to the beam, everyone died.
In one of the endings you can see shepard wake up on the ground.
