They just need to come up with a great story and likeable characters. They don't even need to build new battle, inventory, or upgrade systems, they can just pick and choose the best ones from games past. Success isn't too far off for them, they just need to see what worked best in the past and implement that.
I agree. I don't feel like xbox is trying really hard this generation.
It's annoying when articles call mobile phone gamers, gamers, when the grand majority of them are Candy Crushers. Not too many are cranking through an rpg on their (name a phone). Of course all companies would like to have angry birds numbers, but they are just merely killing time, waiting for whatever. Nobody ever stopped to hold a gaming tournament for computer solitaire.
Hopefully Sony will tread carefully. They are known to pull a few boxers from time to time. The most recent is with the PS TV and overall treatment of the Vita.
Kratos is plowing through other mythological religions now. Well, in that vein, there is a plethora of religions to draw from. After the norse, he could stop in Egypt, move on to ancient Babylonia, Latin America, maybe stop in the Pacific islands...
Gamestop is still a good place to find old stuff. I just wish their stuff wasn't so scratched up so bad.
I don't care much for valve these days.
I will keep an eye out for this.
South Park SOT, Bad Company 1, Shadows of the Damned, and splosion man were hilarious to me. I think there are a few teams of developers out there putting some funny stuff.
We are not going to see a next generation yet. We will see a slimmer model of ps4 or xbox one soon that may have a couple of newer features. People that have already made the leap will still be able to play for a long time. I don't think either company would do that to their supporters.
I think delays are OK. I would prefer to play something that has been fixed, than a buggy piece of crap. They do kind of suck, but there should be plenty enough to play with all of the game's being released.
Ahh, the angry Greek returns!!! Can't wait to see what they have in store for us.
It's funny with the popularity of online multi-player games, Rpgs continue to come out in droves to the point where I am backlogged. Rpgs are my favorite genre next to action platformers and there is so much coming out my wallet hurts and my gaming time is fully accounted for. Please keep it up!
I don't care what anybody says, the vita is still kicking ass!
I very much enjoyed Alan Wake. Great story and I highly recommend it to anyone who has not played it.
I heard the next one takes place on Uranus! Sorry, long day at work.
Sounds like a cash grab. I don't know if the candy crushers are going to play classics like xenogears, ff7, ff8, spyro, twisted metal... just to name a few.
I recently picked up a BC ps3. I use this to play some of the old Rpgs because ps2 had tons of great games for it.
This is good stuff! I loved the first one.
I'd agree with all of these scenes and add the death of Aeris, Kratos and the killing of his family, and when Titus and Yuna hug.
