Concerning bits to consider LOL, its a 30$ collection I cant believe how much of the article is about the value is not enough. I'm old school gamer, I know how bad the controls where back then compared to now. Overall nearly every game was improved to help all the younger ones enjoy them better.

Of course there will be a physical release, The kickstarter is to keep from losing any money in case it didnt sell well. Sony did not have full confidence in the property, mainly because of the poor numbers for part 2. So they are only willing to partially fund this. I went through 4 360's....... but never paid a penny to replace them. xbox lasted from launch to this very day. I never had a nintendo console fail. Launch ps3 lasted to this very day. ps2 I went through 2. I paid full retail for replacement. PS1 I had 4. All died with overheat issues. The last one, I would put in the freezer for an hour, and that would let me play for an hour or so....... I had to pay full retail for replacements. I was not the only one with the ps1 issues. Biggest anticipated release ever, and yet not enough support on kickstarter to make the full game...... I think all the old folks are living on nostalgia, FFVII will do well, but Shenmue will be a flop even after the public funds a fraction of the cost. I loved my dreamcast, and at the time shenmue was something new. But it has in no way aged well, I for one cant fire up the dreamcast and play the original without thinking its total crap. I love how many know it alls are on this site. Always speaking there opinion as fact. Its a game, it will come out eventually. People will buy it, play it and love it. Why get your panties in such a uproar over others opinions. For most of us 7 was the last good FF game. And the nostalgia will be fun to play a complete remake. But its a long way off, so Ill be playing many other games before this ever sees the light of day. I will worry about this one the year its comming out.
well, since the cell is so hard to emulate, sony could just emulate 360 games from all the 3rd party publishers. That just leaves the first party issue...... Solutions solutions
But seriously, Sony has a different goal in the future. Its good both companies are taking branching paths. Gamers win in the end. If any of the 3 consoles out would have been the only one, we all would still be playing games. Nothings terrible out there, although the WiiU hardware is borderline
