Insanity. The 360 is having it's best run in sales ever since the holidays. Easily outselling the ps3 worldwide. Plus the 360 is making some serious profits and can afford a price cut. Microsoft definitely knows how to run their business. This price cut right here will create a massive sales run that will mirror the early days of the wii.

Which is a tactic Sony has been doing in almost every E3. They always show teasers of games that aren't even in production. All they need to do is show Kratos flexing his muscles in a 5 second clip and the sony fanboys go bananas. Sony knows their fanbase are rabid and knows how to sucker them.
Yes, the ps3 has been selling decent, but the 360 is having it's best run EVER! The ps3 is not outselling the 360 worldwide.

Substance is saying the ps3 as a whole has never seen profits. Some reports have shown the ps3 being more of a financial burden to Sony than the original Xbox was for Microsoft. In fact, the ps3 looks to never be profitable.
I said this before in the beginning and will say it again, the ps3 will not see the same success as the ps2. And looks like I'm right. :)

Actually Cyclonus007, Max Dissatisfaction is absolutely right. If you want to bring the entire company in this, than Microsoft destroys Sony in overall profits. It's not even close buddy.
You talk about "not the juggernaut it once was?" Well lets keep this in the gaming realm. The ps1 dominated, the ps2 COMPLETELY DOMINATED, and the ps3 is still in dead last. So now what? :)
