As long as they update the engine to support the new shaders everything will be fine. Some people have this weird idea that you need to rebuild the engine from the ground up every time you make a game.
Idc I'm in ZBrush already making it NOW! lol
Yeah am I not the only one sick of this seemingly endless trend of "Angy Nerds"? Annoyed Gamer, Angry Nerd, Angry Joe, Black Buster. It's just been and endless stream of topics that could otherwise be talked about in a civil fashion in the name of gaining more viewers. From what I've seen these people just think they get a pass to be an obnoxious un entertaining pr$*#. Sure they saw the popularity of AVGN, but they missed point, he's a character... and they aren't.
Well maybe this will put you at ease, the reporting system also rates a player based on how reliable their feedback is. For example if a player is continously reporting people, and those people he's reporting don't end up actually being bad people. He loses how strong his voice is in the voting system. So these "12 year old kids" you have to imagine they won't have a strong voice. So as long as you conduct yourself in a respectable manner you'll be fine.
I'm excited for the new Xbox Live too... but let's be serious here. Did we expect to hear anything different from Nelson? lol
Idc whether Frostbite and CryEngine can pump out better graphics. Unreal is INFINITELY more friendly to work with and get assets in.
Are you a toxic player? Do you respond to claims of "hacking" with obscenities hate speech? If yes, then you deserve the red card. If no, and you're just afraid of getting reported because of your super uber 1337 pwnage skills, then think about this. People who report you out of poor sportsmanship are most likely going to have a poor merit in voting so their votes won't really effect you.
True, just hope other developer begin to plan they're games out what that in mind, so we the player don't have to see it. But on a positive note THANK ALL THAT IS JUST for number 9. Seriously that is the #1 reason why I would rarely play my PS3, go to play a quick game of Uncharted 3 annnnnnnnd hour worth of updating both the PS3 firmaware and the game >_>
I'm gonna make the argument that Texture drop in may still be an issue in some games, because it's not a sign of lacking hardware... it's a sign of a crappy developer. Same goes for load times and draw distance.
They put money towards commercials?... PRE-ODRER CANCELLED!
A lot of people are getting a misconception here, cause I'm guessing a lot of these idiots didn't read the article. This is a good thing because regardless of your opinion it now allows "professional" players to travel in and out of the country on the same visa as other professional athletes.
Yes, because being exactly like everyone else and homogenizing the industry is what's gonna get you new an unique games.
That would be horrible if Microsoft ditched the Kinect, it would essentially make it an identical box to PS4, with less power and probably a bit cheaper. Having the Kinect set's the Xbox apart from the PS4.
I'm sick of seeing RAM or any other console specs being brought into question. When you buy a PC your specs matter cause it determines your games performance. However with a console you sit down, you shut up, and you take what developers give you. Consumers have no say in the graphical fidelity of a game.
By referring to Mass Effect I meant Mass Effect as a franchise. The IP was never purchased by Microsoft when they financed the 360 version. Probably shouldn't have assumed people knew the specifics of what I was getting at.
But regardless my point still stands, if it was published by Sony then it has a chance to be exclusive. But if it's published by Capcom you can guarantee it will eventually be on all platforms. You do not as a company invest millions of dollars in...
@dedicated
The difference between DR3 and Deep Down is that MS is the publisher for DR3, and Capcom is the publisher of Deep Down. If the game is being published by the console manufacturer I can guarantee you that it will NEVER be seen on other consoles. HOWEVER a game published by either it's developer in this case or a 3rd party publisher has at least a chance to be seen on other platforms. For example Mass Effect was never published by MS, so it was logical that it wo...
MY NAME IS MARCUS DECIMUS MERIDIUS!!!
You know what sucks is that I have a GTX 670 in my rig right now and I can guarantee you the games I play can't handle anything near that level... crap.
>"Gameplay doesn't look like a system seller"
>Gameplay...doesn't look
>play... look
>look
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that saying "Gameplay doesn't look" like something, carries about as much merit as saying "That song doesn't look all that great."
Eh I'd prefer to have a Blizzard game to have a long life span rather than just get a set amount of content when I buy it.
