The problem is people often THINK they know what was and wasnt done come day of release. On disc DLC is of course BS but DLC finished a week or so after release usually hasnt passed QA yet to be included in the game.

We may not know their operating costs, but if the prices are indicative of them then this service will go down like the Hindenburg. However I have to say I don't see many media outlets "condeming it forever" but rather saying that if these prices aren't lowered than this will not work. See it's a thing in the industry known as "criticism". We usually levy this at things we want ...

Steam has to pay for the exact same utilities and yet buying Saints Row 3 right now is 2$ more expensive than a pathetic 4 hour rental.
Sure Sony may have to pay for those things too, but if the burden being pushed upon the consumer is that great... why even offer it?

See you had me interested with the idea of a proposition good for the industry... and then I realized you were a flailing retard when that suggestion was another company go bankrupt and put hundreds of game developers out of a job. It is my belief that that would be the exact opposite of good for the industry. But hey I guess unemployment being bad is a subjective thing...
