I've just checked i have 500 points too, got a message through that says
"Dear Xbox LIVE customer, we deposited 500 points to your account, at no charge, in relation to the GTA IV 500pts pre-sell promotion. We apologize for any inconvenience you might have experienced. Thanks for your continued support of the LIVE experience!"
I didnt pre-order my game i just got it from Gamesatation on release day in the UK. they gave we the pre-order promotion of 500...
