I praise him for showing interest in a Final Fantasy VII remake but criticize him for his words that this generation "lasted too long" while working for a company that can barely produce console RPGs anymore.
Still, I'm glad he's open to the idea.
What I can't understand is why they choose the Final Fantasy franchise to commit such a departure from the original working formula.
Why didn't they first test it on one of their other franchises and base future decision on fan reaction.
