Honestly... i expected more exclusive games from Sony for the PS3. There are only 2 or 3 exclusive games for the PS3 at the end of the year... Uncharted 2, new Rachet, Fat Princess (is it any good??? and will it help sell consoles???) and maybe MAG (if it comes out this year).
Microsoft has Forza 3, new Splinter Cell, Halo 3: ODST, Left for Dead 2, GTA4: New Episode, Shadow Complex, ...
Not surprising. IGN has beeing giving PS3 exclusives higher marks then they deserve. If this was a PS3 exclusive, they would probably give it a 8.5 or 9. Take the example of Resistence 2, it's a good game, but no way in hell it deserves a 9.5 that IGN gave it.
It's still strange that almost every site are giving Prototype a 8.5+ and IGN only gave it a 7.5
Yep ... lot of people love this game. Good sales never the less for the first week, and it's going to keep selling for the next week/month/year like other sims games.
What's the fuss about ... Valve is like a 2nd party developer for the X360 and Windows OS. If you want to bash Valve, then start bashing Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream and others that are 2nd party to Sony's platforms.
Honestly, ps3 fanboys are the worst kind i have seen (not saying that X360 fanboys are little angels). If a developer does not develop for the PS3, then they start bashing them. I would really like to know the average age of the PS3 fanboys from N4G ... be...
WTF is the problem ... if you want it, buy it, otherwise don't buy it. Every single year there is a new COD, FIFA, PES, NBA, NHL, Guitar hero, sims pack's every 2/3 months, etc... and nobody complains.
These people should really STFU and stop complaining.
COD Modern Warfare, COD 5, COD Modern Warfare 2 looks like they all have the same game engine, and nobody is complaining.
The problem with this is that it's good for Sony and the developers but bad for the consumers. With a downloadable game you get a full price game ... but after finishing it you can't sell (or resell) it. I prefer the disk version, because you buy the game, after playing it you can resell it... witch helps you buy another game.
Sony has being buying exclusives on their consoles for years... but nobody ever talked about it until Microsoft start buying exclusives. Personally i see no harm... if you what a exclusive, pay for it. No software company in their right mind would do a exclusive when they can do it multiplat and receive more money, unless they are being payed or get something out of a deal..
Only ignorant fanboys believe that Sony or Microsoft don't pay for exclsuives.
"Rockstar Develops Agent Exclusively Out of Confidence in PlayStation"
Everybody knows what GTA is... that's why it sells. But no one knoes what agent is, even if it is made by Rockstar. Hope they don't regret the exclusivity of the game.
Well ... even if they loose money with their exclusivity, they have already made a bundle of money with their games in the PS2
