+ my surround system are being used and abused for some great gaming. -Right now Crackdown has me putting in some serious time....I just love running around blowing sh!t up and 'Crackin heads. -Damm, if I knew fighting crime was so much fun I probably would have chosen a different career path years ago! -LOL.
This is definitely one of the games that I'm very excited about....I love Sci-Fi stuff, so this was always a must have for me.
First of all I would like to say that I appreciate guys like Outlaw and others who do all the "leg work" of finding so much gaming news that keeps this site "rolling". I wish I had more time to submit more news to this site, half of the time I'm at work checking this site every chance I get to see what's the latest news....its addictive and that's because of all the great contributors to this site. I read shadowgamer's post wrong, but I just thought he was just saying "Good Job Sony" -of course he's "Pro Sony" to put it lightly but either way, whats wrong with saying something positive about the company you like?
yeah I totally agree with the last paragraph there....I have said the same things many times....I think people who try to take your bubbles because they dis-agree are COWARDS and its not how the rules are suppose to work....hell I disagree at least with some of what you say, but I have never tried to silence even the most "extreme fanboys", I'd rather laugh and let the world see them for what they are. See people mis-understand, I think PS3 has some great exclusive's that I will "eventually" end up playing.....my point is that I like M$'s stuff more...thats all.
[Edit] yeah personally I don't think most of 360 launch games were of the "mythical AAA" variety, but I do think Call of Duty was very, very close simply becuase it did so many things so well for a next gen launch game...its was an amazing example of at least what was in store for the 360....then G...
If I had to choose only one, which platform offers the kind of games I want to play most?
You can have all the staff in the world but its only 1/3 of the equation, but you still need talent and the right kind of product consumers need.
Personally the 360 has more of the variety of games I like, but I fully understand that other gamers feel differently and its a matter of personal taste....for example I admittedly hate FF series,(I know its not from Sony) fortunat...
I'm not 100% sure but I don't think a simple firmware update would work for already existing games, once they release the "new version" of the sixaxis then, first you will need one because obviously its not in current version, but also I'm not sure that a firmware update is all it takes to implement it into existing games....I thought the game had to be designed that way by the dev's with it already in mind...but then again maybe I'm wrong and all they have to do is tweak the code, ...
is that now they will have "rumble" back in the controllers....those early adopters brought PS3 consoles and controllers knowing full well that "rumble" was not a feature, so there's no problem for Sony there because that was their choice....it sucks but if you want "rumble controllers" then most likely you will need to buy new controllers....unless Sony is going to be very very generous and let those who already have paid of their console send in their old contr...
IGN is one of my favorite sites and they usually are pretty accurate IMO, and I'm sure alot of people feel the same way....its a 8.9 thats a great score with or without rumble. I'm assuming the final score had nothing to do with the lack of rumble, since he never mentioned it....it seems there were other flaws, maybe some of which might be fixed with downloads, but you have to review a game on the bases of what it has or "does not have" when you play the game. This was a great review from IGN, and it is what it is.....8.9 is a great score. Now whats funny is that 360 fans want to point out Motorstorm's flaws, while PS3 fans want to act as if they don't matter. You can do background downloads while playing ALL 360 games, but "IF" you are playing a game like Gears which basicly has a "instant co-op" feature then "IF" someone "joins" your game session, your download will stop until your co-op/multiplayer session is over, at that time your download progress will resume again. -This "instant co-op"...
yeah, I agree.....sh!t games don't deserve to sell, if gamers buy subpar games just for the hell of it....then dev's will respond with more sh!t games.

As if we are going to start seeing MORE & MORE random posts, from random forums, posted as a legitimate news sources on new4gamers....come on, I'm not saying this guy is wrong, but can we at least have news from "official" or "established" news sources and NOT just from "any" gamer who believes there's a conspiracy against a particular company. Yeah I agree M$ is not dominating the market here in the US, but even though M$ is a US company Americans have a LONG HISTORY, of buying what ever they like=diverse tastes in everything, so its totally different from the videogame market in Japan, since Americans have brought more PS1 and PS2's than any one country.
