because most pc gamers dont even use disk drives in general anymore, and dvd's are cheaper, most people will buy the game digitally not physically, most pc game sales are digital sales not physical, the disks are just there so you can install the game faster instead of downloading 60gbs.
but yeah people are moving away from disk drives but i do think that they should atleast include a blu-ray option for those that have it.
most gaming pc's nowadays dont even have dvd players because its all digital.
it would've costed rockstar alot less money if they made it digital only but i understand why, its 60gb and not everyone has a good internet speeds and some people have caps.
people on the pc side are moving away from disk drives slowly and slowly, so i dont see the bluray standard moving forward on pcs. i have a blu ray drive in my pc because it does come in handy some time...
lol this reviewer is so full of shit, he said he played the game for 100+ hours, anyone who invests 100+ in this game wouldn't give a dumbass negative like "Tougher starting point"
not gonna complain too much tho at least he gave it the score it deserves.
HYYYYYYPE
@nitus10 im aware of the problems with the ps3 version, i bought the game day 1 on the ps3 and the lag was so terrible after my saves got big, i switched to the 360 version then finally the pc version now
but yeah i experienced those nightmares, i blame bethesda. it seems that no one at bethesda played the game long enough to see the lag and you dont even have to play that long to see it, even after the patches the game still has problems
It's 2015 and people still don't realize that irrational games went under.
Bethesda softworks never remastered an elder scrolls. Or any of their games for that matter. Because they don't need too.they're probably too busy working on elder scrolls 6 and fallout 4
@DarkOcelet
just imagine the dark souls world running with bloodborne graphics on the bloodborne engine. too good.
@deadfrag LOL are you serious? this generation just started and you're talking about Ps5 Remasters? LMFAO
just like Transporter47 said, over the years games will look better and better on ps4 just like what happened with the ps3
Thank you From Software for making and a great game and thank you fans for supporting it. From deserves the success
25 characters? come on, look at something like tekken tag tournament 2, 50+ characters off the bat
first off this is no achievement. dark souls 2 is a game that came out in 2011 that looked outdated in 2011. how is it an achievement for current gen consoles to run this game at more than 30fps?.
"The primary platform it was created on was the PS4" wrong.
Playstation uses open gl not directx so your statement makes no sense whatsoever (why would they hype up dx11 if lead platform doesn't even use it). DS2 was NOT created on the ps4. it runs better on th...
idk if trolling or serious
..........
why not play dark souls 1 first?
I prefer Demon's Souls to dark souls and im with you guys i would love to another installment in that world.
i would also love a remaster of Demon's souls on the ps4, not sure if that's likely to happen though, i can only wish. it would be especially nice if they give it The Scholar of the first sin treatment, visual tweaks, more enemies etc
Can't wait for their next Multiplat installment, just imagine how good a dark souls 3 would look in the bloodborne engline
@ShottyGibs
there is nothing wrong with my setup at all, and im not the only one. the physx problem gets really bad once you get to a really high level, especially bad if you're playing on ultimate vault hunter mode, when your stats are high, high fire rate legendary weapons for example will produce insane amounts of particles that hinders preformance. im not the only one lol. in the near future ill end up buying a small gpu that doesnt consume much power and use it as a ...
you make very good points.
i wonder how many of these dislikes are from people that never played dark souls 2
