N4G used to have an "Ignore" feature before the revamp and I really, really miss it as I had 'most' of the extreme fanboys for each camp on it which made the comment section a far less toxic place.
Nope it's all crap nu-Trek as its a joint venture between CBS and Secret Hideout (JJ ABrahms/Alex Kurtzman), RIP good Trek :(
Would love a well crafted Star Trek game - but only if it was based on the original Cannon Trek not the utterly crap nu-Trek that CBS is currently trying to peddle.
IIRC the main sticking point was that MS wanted x-play thru their servers which would force PS players to make/use a XBL account to access the x-play features while using the PS4.
Does anybody else miss the ability to block/ignore the more diehard fantrolls on this site??
The PS4's had this since day one, tho Sony leave it to the game Dev's if they want to use it (even the PS3 had it)
I liked the missions as well - didn't like having to either wait for a real world timer to pass or having to futz with my system clock to bypass the timer.
I just hope there's no drek like the ****ing War Table which IMO was put in to time gate players and pad out the completion time.

I and my 2 sisters all have PS4's but only I need to have a PS+ sub as I set their accounts up as sub accounts to mine so they can use online multiplayer without having to pay for it,so that's 3 consoles but only 1 PS+ account so the numbers seem believable to me.
Probably because the other console that launched within the same time frame as the x1 has managed to double the number of units sold in the same amount of time it took the x1 to reach almost 40ml (best guess as MS don't want to admit their numbers are so low)
Actually GAMES were the main reason I bought the PS4 at launch - I knew that Sony had a solid history of pumping out a steady flow of quality exclusive games from the PS1 to the PS3 and there was no indication that that would change with the PS4, unlike MS who were strong with the OG Xbox/early 360 years but basically stopped focusing on exclusives mid way thru the 360's lifespan and gave no indication that they were focused on games (you know the thing we buy GAMES CONSOLES to play).
The only thing that would get me to buy a xbox console is a proven commitment to provide a steady supply of quality exclusive games (i.e. games that can ONLY be played on console) in a range of different genres and not the fact their box can push out slightly better graphics.
Exactly! I'm amazed at all the xbox diehards that ignore this fact when their bashing Sony for saying no the MS's version of cross-play.
FF14's director tried to get it on xbox but MS said no as SE wouldn't make a Xbox only server, in fact he's still open to launching on xbox if MS were willing to say yes. As for MS's current cross-play push Sony might be more willing to go along with it if MS didn't require non xbox uses to sign in with an XBL account.

It's mainly about not having PS players having to sign into an XBL account to use MS's version of Crossplay which is different form virtually every instance of PS/PC crossplay, as for the launch PS3's being able to play PS2 games that was due to Sony basically building the PS2 SOC into the PS3 (it was removed so they could lower the price and not many people used it).
I wish the XDF members that infest this site would so some basic research so they'd know that Sony will not allow cross-play as MicroSoft is offering it - i.e. A PS player would have to create a XBL account to access MS's cross-play feature/servers.
@Jaguar It's because MS wants to force PS players to sing in via XBL (make an XBL account) in order to use MS's version of cross-play. Pretty sure Sony would be ok with cross-play if it was done via the games publishers servers like it is with PC cross-play.
From what I've seen the gameplay looks OK but the character models really need some major polish or a complete redo IMHO (how can you make the Black Widow look like a bad tranny??)
