it's funny how all the reviewers gave this game an above average score and all the people playing it are really really enjoying the shit out of it.

you can turn off the framerate lock in the graphics settings to get a little bit smoother gameplay - if you can live with some screen tearing.
for Samsung TV users ... turn off Game mode, turn off the 2 filters in the display-settings and change the general setting from normal to dynamic.
XBOX360 players:
if you notice fps dips try unlocking the framerate in the graphic options ... you get little tearing but the game runs smoother.
well, they're definitely not 720!
PS3 has always been the better multimedia device ... and it has the best exclusives.
this won't change with PS4.

i've played the game for 2 hours yesterday and it really is the Duke Nukem of alien games.
dull graphics, Halo 1 like controls, action music all the time - no horror atmosphere at all, AI is dumb as f**k and always says the same ...
i could go on and on ... it's a really really bad game. i really wanted it to be good but it's one of these game where you just can't keep playing.
there are no reviews online ... i know why.
trust me, you don't want to.
so there are only 2 survival games left ... Zombi U and The Last Of Us
