i think KZ2 will have amazing graphics and sound but it won't be as well thought-out as Half Life, Bioshock, Condemned or F.E.A.R.
a generic shooter with the best graphics to date - i will borrow a PS3 to play through it once.
the problem is that there's not enough gameplay variation and the fighting elements are totally scripted. the game is way too easy. art and sound are both fantastic.

it doesn't need to win anything if the gamer enjoys it. Gears 2 is an amazing action shooter with tons of blood and beautiful graphics. if you don't like such games .. fine ;-)
i think the sound in Dead Space is a little bit better.

if you don't like the game i'm ok with that but i think there are a few people out there like me. it's really not that bad .. you have to play it a little more to enjoy it. first i thought "cr@p" but after a while i got better weapons and armor and the game became kinda fun.
btw i'm not a mindless freak or something. i play games with a good story and interesting gameplay elements. Too Human is just hack & slay withouth thinking - maybe not what Silicon Knights want...
... why the disagrees? if you've played Haze and Too Human (not just the demo) than you have to agree that Haze svcks way more than Too Human. ok, the gameplay may be repetitive and the story is MEH! but if you just want to hack & slay your way through dungeons full of cyberaliens to level up your character, then it's a fine game.
i agree with Dead Space for best shooter but it's also my game of the year ;-)
i just took to the extreme what you've said about LBP not a long time ago because some reviewers mentioned that there are some flaws with the controls. i told you it's a great game and i enjoyed playing it (if only for about 3 days).
i think overall the PS3 lacks the WOW factor - i sold mine not a long time ago. some games are really good .. you should play Metal Gear Solid 4 even if you dislike the previous MG games. at least you should borrow it from a friend or something like ...

i like the PS3 but i sold it after MGS4 and LBP and i would never buy one again.
i'm not a fanboy - i just think the XBox 360 is the overall better gaming system - no matter how good Uncharted 2 and KZ2 look.
i don't know why but to me the XBox 360 feels more complete gaming system - i wouldn't want to miss the great features XBox Live offers + stable framerate in multiplatform games and less aliasing issues.
for example, i read that EA's skate 2 will be once again inferior on the PS3 -- i mean C'mon EA .. fvck u!
with the 360 you know what you get!
