Resistance is much more fun to play than Gears - you know nothing.
i've played them both and Gears is only run,duck,cover,shoot,run,duck, cover,shot...... graphics are nice but not smooth around the edges.
even resistance's multiplayer kicks gears A$$
all the good games are coming to the ps3 ... there's no reason to deny that.
gears of war was way too short. it felt like they rushed it to the market. multiplayer is nice - but personally, i'm more of a single player guy.
i'm really looking forward to see what Epic brings to the ps3. nice nice !!!!

so there you have it TheMART ... it's not a god of war with a chick. this game looks totally amazing ... it's like watching an action movie.
but your halo3 is a halo 2 .. your mass effect is like kotor + graw combined with 70% reading, your bioshock is a systemshock and your highly praised COD4 will be, well, like COD3 i bet.
all the good games roll to the ps3 - that's nice.
i finally sold my 360 today for 250€ incl. Gears + Forza2 but i will borrow it from the one who bought it - just to play Halo 3. i loved the halo series but as of now .. i'm really pissed about the games coming to the 360. i have always been anti-sony and always thought xbox is more fun but last month i bought a ps2 and i have to say - i have way more fun with the games for ps2 than i had with 360s because on 360 there's no big game variation.

i really think the "deep" games go to the ps3.
Saints Row, Lost Planet, Crackdown - all these once hyped 360 games were so boring because the story was ... well, not there.
the first upcoming exclusives for ps3 look a bit different. not just run & gun / they said that about heavenly sword & uncharted - 2 games where i thought they would be just like that.
the ps3 isn't available as long as the 360.

killzone 2 looks near the 05 trailer ... third party support is great ... exclusives look fresh and innovative ... games are coming ... home is coming ... online is free ... more different types of games ... (maybe) 10 years+ fun with the ps3 ... + you can always get a 360 for playing all the shooters.
