the guys at sony know exactly what they do and they don't just "look at the others". they prove this with games like Echochrome, Little Big Planet, Eye of Judgement and others ....
for the online stuff ... i think it's ok to look what other people do and to copy things that work fine.
as i said before. Folklore is a nice game (i played the demo)

we won't buy a 360 - you can say what you want. for us, the online capabilities of the ps3 are enough + we have more diversity in games.
i like the 360 for some games - don't get me wrong. i just don't think anybody who's waiting to buy a ps3 will buy a 360 because you've said it has better online features. it's a videogame console - not an internet console.
that's my personal view - i'm not that much into multiplayer.
and don't forget - it's all free...

i mean look at the start line-up, it's 10 times better than anything the 360 had at this stage. it's just because some people already played them on the 360. how many good games does the 360 have right now besides some shooters? not that much.

... and that's why i own a ps3 - cause i like the games for it more than the games for the 360. i work at a local videogame store so i play 360 games all the time to see how good they are but besides Gears there's nothing that blows me away till now. i will borrow a 360 for Halo 3 but after that .. hmm.
Like Motorstorm or Heavenly Sword ... i think there's no game on the 360 which gives you such an immense feeling like these two - ok, Gears a little.
