Its funny to read when people say "if Sony is out of gaming so am I"... so i guess your are not a true gamer but a Sony only fan... true gamers watch companies come and go (Atari,Sega,3do and others) and find a new system to fill the void... o and to all the Nintendo haters Sony and Microsoft wouldnt be in gaming if Nintendo did laucnh the NES after the video game crash... I have a 360 PS3 Wii 3ds and a Vita love to all so gaming may live...

@glennco.... thats why blu is better it has the capacity fot 3d,2k4k and in a few years should be able to hold a full season of show on one disc in hd and its still evolving.... thats why we went from vhs to dvd to blu capacity(its the main reason for media to advance or we will still have 8mb memory cards)

When the next chart comes out there wil be 2... but this must change and soon as developers watch how many potential sales they can expect and if this is what is there few will risk money for little reward... its a shame as its a great system
they adjusted the figures recently... just look back at Sony's estimates back in April or May... dont think they gave out estimates back in Feb. they thought the sales from the first month would stay constant but they havent and now they are adjusting it... but who know the Vita is powerful but still has an uphill climb... LBP, AC3 and COD will move hardware... I want to Vita to do well but Sony needs to back it more and get some more 3rd party support... Im dreaming but would love to see...
Activision passed on publishing it(guess they wanted another COD game)... SE had the sack to buy the rights and have this game see the light of day... its well made and publishers should take a little risk (Activision thought it wasnt a quality product)... yes there will be other platform game, RPGs and action games to compare new games to... but gamers do not need another FPS IP
The projected was higher than 2.5 million... Sony was guessing 16 million for the year(both Vita and PSP) a few months ago... and the guess for PSP is 6 million... I doubt the Vita is to move 7.5 million units... the Vita will sell a boat load during the holidays but i doubt it will average a million units a month
Team Ico is just that... a team(a group within a studio... so is Project Siren)... Liverpool is a whole studio... Unless Sony plans to get rid of SCE Japan Sudio then they will be around unless Last Guardian does super bad...
Even Sony/MS/Nintendo can only give an estimate of sales as Walmart sells huge # of systems and dont give accurate #s to suppliers (its basically we need more stock, which can be we have sold out of what we are given or we have alot in stock but want more) and small store dont give out their #s timely or accurately
they are close to accurate... and even game Sony and MS just give a close to accurate sale #s... as its a know fact Walmart does not share their #s even with Sony or MS and i doubt small store give timely or accurate #s

been following Vitas sales and they have been very accurate so far
The only real "original" game is Tearaway... AC, Killzone and LBP are really just PS3 games with Vita specific modes... Sony needs more IPs like Gravity Rush and Tearaway... I understand few new IPs will come out for the PS3 as studios will wait for the PS4 but they should have had several new IPs for the Vita since they knew they were going against the 3DS... and Nintendo has domintated the handheld market since Gameboy came out
Will support the Vita so will be getting this to add to the other 19 titles i have
I hate the its only six months arguments... six months of bad sales make developers shy away from the Vita as they want big sales... remember big companies are closing many good studios for poor slaes and how can you sell well on a system with only 2 million users

Played several games at NYCC and it may not be a necessity for gaming but what it brings to some games was fun (ZombieU it controlled your inventory... but didnt think it was good that you needed it for the riffle... i like aiming withh my thumbs and thank god that is how the pistol and shotgun work)... in other games it was used for controls and in another it was used as a second screen for another player...
