Excited to see how the PS Vita's functionality/controls are used in this. Apparently there's a bit where you have to hold the Vita up to a light source to reveal some hidden text and solve a puzzle.

Ultimately the App Store will be good for games, proving that good qulaity games don't need to cost the earth.
What I don't understand is how companies like EA and Square can charge so much more for the digital versions of PS3 games, especially when digital copies negate manufacturing, distribution anmd retail costs.
Steam and the App Store have it right, the Xbox Marketplace and PS Store have some catching up to do.
Interested if this is coming to console and was designed specifically for console.
DC Universe fails because it's designed to work on both console and PC.

If the marketing is right, and the product and software is right, then it'll sell well.
Don't forget, the PSP has sold more than 70 million worldwide.
It'll 'fail' at first, but then sales will pick up later on its life. In a similar way to the 3DS has recently.
The advantage the Vita has over any other handheld device in history is that it can do everything: core games, iOS-style games and has brilliant connectivity. It can do pretty much anything Sony or third parties can throw at it.
It's just the price that's too high at the moment for real mass market appeal.
When the new WoW exapansion hits and everyone goes back to that.
