Fishy Fingers, it is true that many people will buy the game no matter what but still it is foolish decision to deny a platform where everyone has tons of friends. It is also foolish to be forced to use additional platform for a single game or two.

In my opinion Diablo 3 on PS3 could easily turn to be awesome and playable game since i don't see problems with playing it on controller
Microtransactions can make alot more money then regular model. If game becomes popular as competetive title, license for tournaments will cost alot. There are many more ways.
