im guessing you didn't read the article then, as the point of it is that while the hardware may be, the games you are playing today are current gen...
all those things you refer to are unsubstantiated rumours with no actual facts to back them up, so yeah, the article supports waiting to form an opinion until we actually know what's happening...

Xbox 360 killed it? no sir, terrible storytelling, poor environmental design and extremely over-ambitious and high-concept battle changes killed it
FFXIII was far, far less than was needed... it was a game with massive potential hideously botched, as was its sequel...

Looks like you didn't read the article my friend. There was no qualitative judgement, but the point is those are exports, not games in the traditional sense. The fact they are no longer traditional games, but exports in their own right is not a criticism in any way.i understand your defensiveness of beloved titles but there is nothing to defend against in this case
