It's funny because Killzone 2 will only sell 2 or 3 million copies max and will hardly move any hardware of the system. It's like when Halo 3 came out it sold well but only to the people that already had a system, made a small spike in sales but nothing like people were expecting.
Put it this way Killzone won't have people standing out in line for hours waiting for a copy.
I love his games but man no need to be hating on Kotaku.
When I actually play the game and see it in motion on my tv I will let you know because from screen shots it doesn't look that much better than say Call of Duty 4 or World at War or Gears of War.
wow the first average review for Killzone 2? I don't want it to be an average game, but will it be? Hopefully not, I want to play a good FPS besides Resistance on PS3.
4/5, 9.9, and a 9.7 not off to a bad start so far, hopefully the good reviews will keep coming because I need another good FPS to play especially this time of year.

Well we did get shafted last time.
I need a company (not by the name of Sony to say this). If anything it would be the DVD not having enough room.
Everyone knows that 360 doesn't sell in Japan, every now and then it has a good week if a good game comes out for it. But for Microsoft selling 10 000 systems every week since October is better than barely 1000 systems a week prior to that.
But in Japan xbox 360 = Epic Fail!
I love playing with new people but it's kind of like if i get on a game I have to play with them in a way or i will keep getting spammed with invites.
This guy is just a waste of air man, not only does he diss Killzone 2, but he also disses MGS4 and Halo. Not to mention how he stereotypes all PS3 gamers. What kind of gay games does he like some stupid Anime RPG's with nearly naked under age fantasy girls? Have fun with that buddy.
What also gets me is the guy that says he is going to kick his a$$, I find that hilarious how someone will be get confrontational over an opinion haha. Plus California is a huge place.
Nothing in this console race will catch the Wii, and will probable out sell both systems but you got to relise that gamers buy PS3 and 360, everyone else buys a Wii.
Personally I own a Wii, I played it and liked it but after a while the novelty died off and it now resides in my younger sisters room for a downgraded form of Rock Band.
I have enjoyed my PS3 there before the Holidays but after Resistance and Little Big Planet nothing has really caught my eye. If I buy a multiplatform game its going to be on 360 for the fact that everyone i knows plays multiplayer on 360 rather than ps3.
Oh and by the way I'm not a "gamer" I like to play games.
Wow I didn't think it could be done, congrats on Guerrilla for doing such a good job on the graphics. Hopefully the controls and the story can hold up to the same expectations.
This game has the potential to derail Resistance 2 which was an amazing game overall, Can't wait to actually turn on my PS3 again.

Don't know where this guy is getting his information, PS3 outsold 360 from May-July of last year according to the NDP.

I loved the campaign in R2, some slow moments but it did keep me content and wanting me coming back for more. The ending was kind of iffy but all shooters today are because they want to make a sequel, which i have no problem with. It makes me want to go back and play R1 again and when it comes out Retribution.

I love both Franchises but over all I like Halo 3 more than Gears of War 2. But I don't see how Gears 2 has a better story line than Halo 3?

PS3 doesn't have the best software? They have less stellar RPGs, FPS', etc. Not to mention it only had three good games come out for it last year? 2007 it had what Uncharted? 2006? Nothing.
