Oh and all this costs bullshit is nonsense the discs now are so mass produced they are cheap. There's no game that big. 3 discs would be plenty. Also games are getting cheaper and cheaper. no manuals now save money there. Less bug testing they go the easy way out and do updates via online. another cost saving method. Oh and the money they make from stupid add ons and dlc all stuff that should be on the full version of the disc.
IMO when I played ff7 back on ps1 the game flowed well and the pacing was perfect leaving midgar broadened the game and blew me away when I got out to the world map . The timing was good because I was sick of the city and was craving to get out to the the open fields and new towns. I don't want a full fledged game on just midgar. It will seem constricted. jrpg had a certain style this is not staying true to the system and its what the fans wanted. I really want this game to be good but...
Lovely I pre ordered this turd on amazon for 30 % off promotion. It was 79.99 relax that's only for us Canadians... But that's a price for a full fledged game not episode 1 or part 1?? They need to specify and give more details on this asap. I truly hope as mentioned earlier the main story is delivered on part 1 and other stories spin offs or whatever they are calling them come after. If they turn this into a cash cow which is definitely the direction this is going it will get ruined...

Wow the amount of people comparing cell phone games to console games ??? Mind blown. A tiny cell phone game is not comparable graphics, sound, game engine,content etc to a console game. There will be no price cut this year. Like many have already said there's no need for it. What I do see happening is some amazing bundles for the holiday season. A TB hard drive and a game would make most sense. Sony will strike a deal with a hard drive manufacturer. I'll admit that was pretty sweet but the whole modernized characters and cars doesn't mix with final fantasy. It's just stupid in my opinion why use a sword when lazars, guns and who knows what else is available. I'm fine with technology in final fantasy but keep it inline. Just think if they made medieval looking knights and wizards. Kept it all together in a sense that makes sense and of course summons like these. A playing factor in these games getting delayed is all the back lash developers get on their games. People bitch and whine to get videos of something, then tear it apart in the comment sections or in news articles. These games aren't finished product. I think it's decent for a smaller developer but I sadly have to agree it's probably headed bargain bin direction. Graphics are ok and they don't matter to make a game good. To me it seems like stiff battle gameplay and may have collision detection issues. Voice acting is ok but like I said it's a smaller developer and budget constraints will show. It may have to fill the void for us rpg seekers. Let's hope it satisfies ... even if its only for awhile.
whoop de doo .... clearly the system is struggling. Nice to see competition benefitting the players. The move is just as easy to do with ps4. Will they? Doubtful because they don't have to. The ps4 has been a success . All I can say is if you have consoles sitting around over there ship them here I'm patiently waiting to get mine. But it seems they will be people waiting in all places.
