This is not down to SONY as they don't set the prices, However...
It is ridiculous that companies think they can get away with charging this amount considering you cannot trade your game in.
Not many people buy this for the story, more for the multiplayer
That's not saying much, both campaigns are underwhelming, FPS's like Resistance, Half life and Bioshock put these games to shame in the single player department.
Can't wait, I love the resistance franchise, the best FPS out there.

It amazes me how some gamers side with publishers, they are like sheep- Just accept whatever is thrown at them.
Epic have the nerve to try and justify themselves on this?
If I were them I would at least shut up and try and get away with it rather than looking like bigger douches.
I don't see a problem releasing a game on a different platform but when you release it so soon on the same platform with just extra DLC that is inexcusable.
that's funny because their campaign has as much of a story as pacman does.
Games like resistance 3 put the COD campaigns to shame!
As good as Battlefield is there are far better games that deserve to sell more such as Uncharted 3, Batman AC etc.
That's what happens when you become greedy and try to nickel and dime your customers.
And for those that say "But it doesn't effect me I buy knew" well here you go. You deserve to get ripped of.
If this happens I quit gaming!
If you want a quality game where everything is of the highest standard then get UC3.
If you want your typical shooter then get BF3.

Actually I think Uncharted as a franchise is underrated. That's how good it actually is.
You would be an idiot to try and finish this game quickly as it would take you out of the story.

PES this year is way better, I have both so I can make a fair judgement.
gamers are sheep, they only buy based on sales.
The idea based on the fact that resistance 2 was bad so resistance 3 has put people off is laughable, I could point to the fact that gears of war 2 had a disastrous launch with unplayable online yet that hasn't stopped people buying gears 3.
If you people want the best shooter on the market then buy R3, it's as simple as that!
It's a shame that R3 wasn't given a big push as this too. Resistance and Uncharted are my two favourite franchises.
