Poor X1, it looks like it's gonna be death on arrival.
I'm not X1 fan, but I wont ignore the possibilty of success for X1. Fans of MS exclusives might supprt it, some might decide to support the domestic product, along with reasons I mentioned above we might see the success of X1.
I don't want X1 to be successful, frankly because of the way MS is heading. DRM, no used games..etc Gamers should stand together, don't let corporates steal your rights.
Might fail among gamers, but there's a good chance that it will sell good to the public "casual gamers/ people looking for bluray player with extras/ parents buying a cheaper console for their kids, provided that X1 cost less than PS4".
We might see the wii scenario again. Hardware sales top, not much for softwares.

Consoles aren't holding pcs, It's the pc gamers+ developers/publishers.
I will tell you why:
1- It's a risky investment for developers/publishers, lots of PC gamers go for pirated games.
2- No standard specifications like consoles. Each pc have a different specification, Why the developers will do more work when most of the PCs won't be able to play the game at max setting.
3- PC games revenue is less compared to console revenue, that's wh...

I can't support business practice which limits what I'm entitled to. Not all games worth purchase new or used, If I ever feel the game is not for keeping then I'd sell it and invest in another game. I'm used to give my games to friends, borrow some games which I don't feel like buying, If developers/console makers will prevent me from this then guess what? I'll simply move on to different company to get what I want.

Bro let me tell you what I think. PS4 will be marginally better based on few things:
1- We would have seen MS brag about the spec, but they didn't which idicates that they don't want to let their fans down by telling the world they have a weaker heardware. We only got vague info.
2- Here's what genuinely makes me believe we will see some differences in multiplatform games. The XBox1 have 3 operating system as I heard, add other functions like TV..etc bring the DDR3...
After watching the reveal, I regret the one hour I lost and never gonna get it back.
I think the Xbox reveal is part of Sony marketing plan. Almost everything I saw screamed at me "GO PRE-ORDER PS4".

Why disclose details if it will get you troubles?
The vague info is part of the marketing strategy, they want the people to think the 8 GB of ram = 8 GB of GDDR5, in other words Xbox1 = PS4. They want to mislead consumers, make'em think the Xbox1 is on par with PS4 but let me tell you one thing "4>1" , can't argue with math.
At the moment there's no way i'm getting it.
I'll give it a chance, I'll look at it 2 years after release, evaluate the system then decide.
naked gals, sex, drugs..etc I don't care if it's in the game or not. If it suits the game, improve the experience then let it be. I only hope that the Adam Sessler guy doesn't make an effect on the developers and make them change things. I want what the developers think is the best experince not what that guy dreams and wants in the game.
I hope they don't alter things like what Santa Monica Studio did with GOW Ascention.
I agree with you on the purpose of the demo,and that it failed it's objective but I don't think it's possible to judge based on 10 minutes gameplay.
Most of the times the demo consist of few minutes of useless gameplay, not a great section. Insomniac should have done better and provided a demo with full mission at least that would have helped us decide.
I hope the industry takes Sony way, offering a 1 hour trial.
A small portion of the game doesn't help us much to decide if the game worth purchase it/ get it used / rent it / borrow it/ totally ignoreit.
Gotta wait and see, might surprise us.
At the moment, it doesn't look like it's a GOTY but the coop element can support it to be a good game. If games like Army Of 2 can provide some entertainment then Fuse can do it.

Never understood why it sells much. I tried Modern Warfare 4 "it was good", then world at war "I didn't like it much", then black ops "bored the shit out of me". I never went back to COD again.
I tried the so called addictive MP, Zombie mode, it's just not for me.
