IMO it will go the way of 3DTVs and then some other revolutionary new hot technology will pop up. VR isn't taking off very easily. Eventually it will sink into the dark sea of the past and be forgotten.
Perhaps in the future, if it will have one, most of the issues it has now will be eliminated. But I think it will disappear for a decade and then it will return better than ever when many of us will have forgotten about it.
The PC versions are not counted in this data. First week sales for FC4 on PS4 is 891,606. It's around double this time around. And yes it came out at a bad week. GoW is a more popular franchise than FC.
A lot of Indies are about the same as many other Indies. So many of Indie games are packed with gimmicks like they're trying too hard to pull off something unique that it comes across as annoying. A 2D game with some "new" art style doesn't really equal to something very original. Instead, they get old fast. Just from my experience.
This is literally a hard one. They're both masterpieces in their own right.
Good game. I don't like it as much as the PS3 one though. Kingdom building and skirmish battles are unnecessary and grindy. The boss battles are very easy too, even if their level count is over 10 higher than your party members.
That said, I would've liked kingdom building had it been like Dark Cloud. I find it weird how there's a shipyard when your kingdom is located in land, and how two lumber camps are right by each other. Nitpicky stuff, but somethings I'...
If you travel in the summer a lot, get the Switch.
And I would import it from Japan. If this game comes to the west it would've been censored.
The silver lining is, it's still alive in Japan. I import all my Vita games from Japan, which still have physical releases.
Unfortunately it's dead here in the west, and has been for years. I am hoping for Sony to still release another handheld. Even if it stays in Japan I will import one of those and all the games I want for it.
Oh I forgot Pokemon Snap.
As a former Apple fan, I agree that they have been doing some extremely bad moves. This is one of them. What drove me away was their slowing down older iPhones. I don't care that they fixed it, it shouldn't happened at all.
This time I have a Galaxy S9+ and love it. I don't have to worry about not being able to use some App that I want on this phone thanks to Android's freedom.
Unfortunately this could lead up to the N64 mini being the boring addition IMO. Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Paper Mario, Starfox, both Zelda's, Yoshi Story, F Zero, and Smash Bros. are all I can think up so far. DK64 and DKR are the rare games that have some hope as DKC happened on the SNES mini. Maybe the Pokemon Stadium games also, but without support for the GB cartridge adapter to play with your Pokemon on, that loses half of those games' functionality. Most save batteries in t...
MS should do the former TBH. The latter wouldn't work out for several reasons. You could get time exclusive deals for example the next Tales of RPG but that would just have anger more people than convince them to buy an Xbox.
"The most important thing is services and getting those up and running"
I disagree. You can have tons of services, or the best services from a technical viewpoint, but without enough games the services won't have much to use them for.
MS needs a lot more MS games for their games console. That is what gamers are complaining about the most ATM.
Oh you do have a clue, and you are spot on. I just signed this petition BTW.
TBH I'd too likely prefer this game above all Ubisoft games from the past few years, even if it's a 5/10 game.
I'm getting it either way. Problems and all I am looking forward to a game like this.
My list
Legend of Heroes Crossbell series
Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky trilogy
Ys Celceta
Genkai Tokki Moero Chronicle
Genkai Tokki Moero Crystal
Gun Gun Pixies
Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth trilogy
To Heart 2 Dungeon Defenders
Bullet Girls 1 & 2
Persona 4 Golden
Most of these games are imports from Japan.
Their online service shouldn't be paid considering there isn't much of an online service to charge Switch users for. I'd say Nintendo is really charging for online because of Pokemon. Nintendo knows this service will rake in the money once the Pokemon games release.
This started with Pokemon bank for the 3DS. AFAIK, Pokemon bank makes managing your large Pokemon collection easy.
Unfortunately, Wii U saves are console locked even though you can copy saves on an external storage location. Knowing Ninty, the Switch wouldn't be any different if it allowed backing up saves on a SD card. Cloud saves would allow using saves on another system.
I use it all the time. My PS4 Pro hard drive is filled with captures. All my games are installed on a 6TB external hard drive instead.
Sonic R-mastered?
