I don't get it myself. A blocky game that I didn't find much fun, but that's just me. That is a shitload of money to spend on a game but 2.5 bil for MS is like $2.50 for me. They shit the bed with Rare and unless Mojang has another ace up it's sleeve it seems like a waste. But it's MS's money and as a one legged pirate once said, "I'm the captain of this ship and I'll sails her anyway I wants to."
This guy nailed it. Destiny forgot what FUN means when it comes to story telling. That's what I loved about Half Life, Halo and Borderlands......they were fun to play fps'. Destiny lacks the spirit of those games.
I guess after reading all the pre-release news on it knowing it was a more MMO game, I was still hoping for a more Halo CE sp experience. I'll have to scratch that itch with the remastered and Halo 5 when they come out. Good to hear people are enjoying Destiny MP part of the game.
Yeah, not super impressed. It's good, not great. Heartless with lousy voice acting, especially that Ghost thing. I want some kind of semblance of Glados, Claptrap or 343 Guilty Spark. And that story........peeeeeeeuuuuw! This game is definitely no Halo. Still enjoying it but now I'm looking forward to the other new games coming soon.
Probably because we've turned into a culture of obese zombie sloths. I like my games but I prefer to get out and do stuff and gaming is something I fit in when I can. To actually watch others play for hours on end.....what a waste of time.

I find it rather hillarious reading some of these comments of said fanboys who must have a real early copy of DC so that they can compare it to PGR. Both FH2 and DC will probably both be great games on their own merits so why is everything a competition to you fat kids on ...
Project Gimmick will be like 3D tv and go the way of the dodo and Oculus Unicorn will do the same. Tech isn't there yet.......years away from VR glasses. That's when I'll get interested. Who wants a tailgate hanging off their face......not me.

Yeah, this article title is really stupid. Fans of hockey have no choice other than EA's dumbed down version. I stopped buying it years ago. The author does make some good points on EA's sneaky ways to make the hardcores buy every year. To me, the games are so slow and just not fun anymore. I want a new NHL HITZ. HITZ Pro for the original Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube was a blast and I still play it to get my hockey fix. Screw EA!

Well, I'm no tech head and I would rather just buy a machine that's ready to go, just like a console and Windows would have to be the answer so I can play all the games. I'm thinking maybe a middle machine, about in the $1000-$1500 range. I just want the comfort of sitting on the couch with a controller and the big ole' telly to play it on plus get the maximum graphical benefits. I'd love to see how Bioshock, Dishonored and all the others look with the best graphics settin...
All about variety to play all the games. Steambox next for me and hell, I'll even pick up a WiiU when they start getting the good exclusives.
Bought the collectors edition and put it away and never ended up playing this game because of no sp. Hope the sequel has sp or I'm not interested.
Good looking no question, if they use controls from Beyond 2 Souls, not interested. I liked Heavy Rain but don't like this developer's control schemes, hope they change to the norm.
Loved the game with it's Bioshock/Half Life type gameplay and atmosphere. Can't wait til the new machines get a sequel. Heard these guys were working on Prey 2, anyone heard anything new on that?
