its not that they refused to patch it. when mw2 came out half of infinity ward quit so they were short staffed and couldn't roll out patches and as i recall black ops was patched constantly

Rage quitting isn't really a big problem for me because in popular games such as call of duty new players join almost instantly. one thing that annoys me though is people who have host and power off their system or go to the dashboard when they are losing resulting in a premature end to the match.
