You would think that if you founded a company like Bioware, you have a deep love or passion for gaming. This was one of the better Major Nelson podcasts.
Its not that it is not a decent wage I just know how hard these guys work. Deadlines and such, look at the latest news out of Rockstar San Diego these guys get run into the ground, for what 70k and a credit at the end of the game.

These types of games never pan out. After playing the beta I was left unimpressed. We'll see I am crossing my fingers that this game will make me put down COD but I am doubting it.

Thats the biggest problem with the game. People quitting out leaving you short handed..Or just getting dropped. I actually stopped playing versus because it seemed like this was happening a lot.

This is exactly what this game needs.
Mass Effect 2 will be GoTY. Taking All bets. And if not ME2 it will be Halo Reach. I wasn't that impressed with the God of War Trailer and although the game is going to be good I'm sure. There's no way it will be drawing perfect marks like Mass Effect 2 did. Well it may draw perfect marks from say a "journalist" who superimposes himself as Kratos. But I think most other people in the industry just call that fanboyism and not credibility.
