PS1 and PS2 had multi tap which allowed 8 plyer gaming on a single console. Only sports games supported it though.
This is my only bookmarked gaming site, it's pretty much the only one I need. Even if a topic about a game or system I'm interested in doesn't catch heat I can just click the name of it, or have it tabbed, and find all the stories, new and old. No matter how popular it was. For example: http://n4g.com/channel/drag...
I check out all the Dragon's Crown stories.
Why would I need another...

I completely forgot about renting games, there's no way you'll be able to rent on Xbox One!
Red box started having games and will never see X1 versions now, Gamefly will have to ignore X1 as well. That's crazy.
I personally don't rent games, I watch videos and play demos to make my purchasing decisions, but I do have a few friends that rent from gamefly. I suppose this helps the industry but it'll definitely have a ...
Read before posting people, lol.
I think it's great that porting will be pretty much seamless now. PC, X1 ans PS4 games will release faster, meaning more games with less bugs compared to this generation.
It's awesome news, all that boasting Sony's been doing about making it easier for devs has real truth to it.
Feels like it's taking forever
I need this game... bad.
How is that a problem? lol
I'm getting it on PS3 because I don't have a Vita, I prefer big screen gaming and I don't want to miss any beauty that game has to offer.
Cool, I'm watching you get killed repeatedly right now! lmao
I'm sure if it sells well they'll continue to make more games. They've been making hand drawn games for years, why would they stop with this gen?
I can't wait to play this.. but I will -_-
Pointless, Sony's been ahead for a long time. Way too many dead 360s before that warranty was put in place to simply ignore. So many that the warranty came into existence at all. This is completely undeniable and because of it the PS3 has had more living systems out far longer than this. Replacements shouldn't count in a user base, no one is buying games for a dead console.
This game looks cool
Dat art...
If the PS4 comes out in November it won't even be counted. A lot of games that come out at the end of the year get completely ignored when it comes time to give out yearly awards. They like doing it before the year is actually over for some reason.
There's tons of next gen launch titles as well as other blockbusters set to release late in the year and chances are they'll all be ignore by the gaming award ceremonies. They could at least wait for the Last of Us to ...
This is stupid, I'm not even gonna bother reading this. There are a lot of games still coming out this year :/
I wish they would release a video streaming app specifically tailored for showing the E3 conference on the PS3. I know we have a web browser but some streams just end up really choppy and even going into PS Home to watch it has had hiccups in the past.
I'd just like a clean stream, in HD, directly to my PS3 where I can watch it live. I love watching these an they upload videos after the conference but a direct live stream would just be amazing.

lucky kid, really lucky.
This is a complete lie, anything mentioned that's negative about the Xbox One is being turned into a simple "Sony might do that too" rumor. It's complete bs, Sony already stated their stance and plan multiple times. It's very clearly detailed as well.
Think online pass, based on if the dev/publisher choose to implement it, but not for online but rather a restriction of their choosing that cannot limit full game functionality, only some side/game enhanci...
We've actually heard plenty from sony and it's pretty much an online pass type of situation, nothing like what MS is doing with the X1 at all.
Devs and publishers will have the power over what restrictions get placed on a used version of their games, if any, but PS4 games will function and be resell-able without Sony sticking the hands in whatsoever. The games WILL function out-the-box without any sort of validation or passkey.
What's really funny is how people were bashing the PS4 for allowing your account to be tethered to your facebook, having real names attached to your PSN account. They screamed about privacy, even though it is stated as a completely optional feature as well as having controls over which people see your screen name and which see your real name.
Now Mircosoft comes out with a mandatory peripheral that is always listening, ALWAYS. A device that scans your living room, notic...
Sony has already stated its stance on used games and it's up to the developers/publishers whether it's implemented. It's on a per game basis.
I've described the approach in comparison to what the Xbox One is doing in this comment on another article:

Do lots of people download game saves anyway?
I never have personally and only know of a few that have :/
