A lot of people don't pre-order and a lot are planning to go to the store on day 1 and then comes the stragglers and holiday buyers. This gen lasted so long that many have been waiting a year to move on.
I think they're saying that even the second wave allocation is sold out now. As in Day 1 and second shipment people.
Sony keeps giving them more and they just keep running through them.
Demand is crazy an still 3 months off.
Killzone looks more science fiction and more like a video game while BF4 is going for realism. These are art style choices, it's not like KZ was going for realism and failed at it.
This reminds me of the comparisons of Forza and GT or DriveClub, Forza being the cartoony one while GT and DriveClub go for picture perfect realism.

BF4 is "doing more" and there's no doubt about that but it's not just colors making KZ look better to us. Look at the sparks flying, the lighting from bullets effect the falling rain water, the visuals of fire and smoke when something explodes. The lighting in the sky, the lighting from the eyes, the textures on the walls all look more detailed than BF4.

Killzone is 100% a next gen title, it'd look even better (if that's possible) if it weren't a launch title.
Titanfall looks like tons of fun but it's a multi-generation title, it has a 360 version.
Being built from the ground up for next gen systems makes a big difference.
BF4 looks good but I can't even look at it in this comparison, my focus keeps getting stolen by the Killzone screen. All the lighting and particle effects are just really eye-catching plus the sound of the guns and the insanely high quality look of the guns in your own hand.
GG are champions in visual fidelity. On top of that the game looks FUN!

Sleeping Dogs was Free on PS+ for a while, I'm pretty sure that helped the community numbers stay up or climb back up a bit this far after launch. Good to see it made them money as well.
After all the improvements that were done and the open beta convincing even more players this is no surprise whatsoever. I have a good number of RPG fans (mostly my old WKCs friends) on my PS3 list and all were playing the beta as well as notifying me and each other which server they'd be playing on.
$40 brand new with the first month free of the monthly charge. People have been waiting a long time for a proper ff mmo. SE fans do still exist.

Features like this are the proper way to push consumers towards digital purchases. You're allowed to have a choice and given an incentive to go to digital route.

Lol, that was dorky but it does look like a really fun game. The epilogue at that end of each battle sounds awesome, why haven't other games done this!?
I think there were a lot of great looking and playing games shown off at E3 though. It may have been best of show but other titles got lots of positive attention as well.

This article is about the fact the MSs XBL service doesn't have Day 1 digital or digital pre-ordering like the PS3 does.
